Yes ,this is made from a whiskey barrel, the wood is white oak which is impervious to rot by nature ,the staves are scorched in the build process at the bourbon distilleries to bring out colour and flavour to enhance the whiskey,
The barrels are dried for a time and the best staves are selected for use in the chair build , all the brackets are made using the original hoops off the barrels in house , nothing is wasted, we deliver nationwide!!!
