✨ Handmade Kitchen Transformation

This beautiful handmade kitchen started out as completely bare wood, so there was plenty of preparation involved to achieve the finished result.

The painted areas were carefully prepared, primed and finished to give a smooth, durable finish, while the wooden worktops and drawer fronts were oiled to enhance and protect the natural timber.

I really like the combination of the painted cabinetry with the natural oiled wood — it keeps the character of the handmade kitchen while giving the whole room a fresh new look.

A great example of how a quality handmade kitchen can be completely transformed.

A fresh new look for this home using Corksol spray render.

We removed the old cladding from the gables and dormers. The gables were prepared with a base coat and mesh. On the dormers, we replaced any rotten battens, fitted cement board and applied a base coat with mesh.

Both areas were then finished with three coats of Corksol in Arctic White.
