The is tagged : Fashion Alpaca Landscape in Earthy Colours. It’s super stretchy, beautifully warm and has the loveliest texture.

✨ My little trick for this yarn: the larger needle creates that gorgeous ribbed look, even though it isn’t actually ribbing!

1) Cast on 78 stitches using ‘long tail cast on’ onto 6mm x 60cm circular needles
2) in the round until desired height - I used nearly all the ball.
4) Cast off using a stretchy bind off
5) Wear the cowl as you would a polo neck with your fave coat or jacket instead of a scarf. The yarn is very soft and very warm and looks great from either side. Fabulous colours.

I didn’t love the dress… so I changed it. ✂️🪡

Shortened it, added a scalloped hem, then covered it in a bit of completely freeform hand embroidery — and suddenly it’s something I actually want to wear. 😂

And that’s the joy of making stuff: you don’t always need something new. Sometimes you just need to look at what you already own and think, what if…?

Hopefully this gives you a bit of inspiration to have a go yourself — whether that’s embroidery, embellishment, altering something you’ve fallen out of love with, or simply making something a little more YOU.

Well… it wasn’t quite dry, but it’s in its frame and up on the wall! 😂🎨

My latest oil painting, painted outside in 35–40 degree heat in Spain this summer. 🥵😂 Not sure I’d recommend it as a painting technique, but here we are…

It’s now hanging in our outside dining room at the Spanish house 🇪🇸

There’s also the 30 x 30cm painting I did from the same photo earlier this year. It’s quite interesting seeing how I’ve painted it 3 times the size - same but different.

1. Our new Spanish Kitchen which got properly finished last year 🤗 I coloured up .factory tiles for the glorious floor tiles. After it was laid we had it buffed. 👌🏼
2. Backsplash tiles
3. I measured the tallest bottle of vermouth to determine height of shelves 😂🍾
4. The units were built by a local Spanish carpentry kitchen company and we employed a separate builder to do everything else. 😬
5. We sourced these light switches from Poland but they also sell them in the uk at
6. The terrazzo worktop was also made by .factory for us in Morocco and then shipped in 3 pieces to Spain. We used a local marble fitter to install it. That was the hardest part tbh!
