Still loads to do, but having gone from a grotty 80s kitchen and dining room, we’ve come a long way on a small budget. Next project? We’ve bought stone slips for the chimney breast and then we’ll get the double sided log burner installed. Also need new rugs, so any recommendations gratefully received! CANNOT wait 🔥

The fireplace has been knocked through today and the hearth is in. That’s the last of the messy work, still living in a total sh****le but can start to see the end result (sort of). Plastering and cladding next, then the log burner 🔥
