Monster Zone, genius workshop for children only starts this Saturday The Living Room 💜

MONSTER ZONE is moving to Saturdays, first one this week.

Saturdays 10am-11am

Ages 6-12 years

MONSTER ZONE

Using folk myths and characters as a starting point, this is an opportunity to draw, collage or build your creatures, with plenty of inspiration to get you started.

If writing is more your thing, come and be inspired and create new myths and stories around the various monsters, nameless monsters that haunt Bexhill and beyond.

Folk legends have to start somewhere and there’s always room for new ones!

Refreshments are included.

Run by illustrator Sam.

Workshops at The Living Room start again this week. ❤️

Yes..

Workshops start again this Wednesday.

Meet & Create 10-11.. creative activity, a drink and a chat.

BYO - 11.30-1pm. Bring along your own project and create in a supportive environment .

The art of creative journalling - 1.30-3pm. Experimenting and collecting your own creativity.

Everything can be booked via our website and you can also pay on the day, just let us know you're coming along.

P.S. sadly Christine is ill so we won't have the textile workshop this week

P.P.S. an additional Meet & Create will start on a Thursday evening 6-7pm starting from next week.

Happening at The Living Room this Saturday- spooky. 🙂

This Saturday we're celebrating Halloween with a spooky mask making workshop.

Drop in anytime between 2-4pm.

It's free but if you can afford a donation it will go towards our community projects.

See you there, aimed at everyone.

If you're free next Friday and want to walk confidently through the thin veil on All Hallows then come and make a mask with us so the spirits don't recognise you.

Join us at The Mint House on Friday 30th October between 11am - 3pm for a spooky workshop!
Come for mask making, in the All Hallows tradition to ward off maraudering spirits, to feast on Soul cakes and prepare for Halloween.

For all ages, free, with donations to help support the Mint House very welcome.

Really lovely first day of The Bexhill Tapestry supported by to support multigenerational projects to enable us all to live well.

If you're free tomorrow, Sunday..

Come any time between 11-4pm and depict a memory or story or area of Bexhill, takes place at and is totally free of charge.

You can write it, draw it, paint it or sew it, have a drink, eat a biscuit and chat if you feel like it..

All your amazing work will then all be sewn onto a banner and put in the front window.

Get involved, it was so relaxing today.

Ah it's nearly Wednesdays at The Living Room XX

It's nearly Wednesday again, you know it means we're pouring creativity all over you.

Sessions all take place

10-11 Meet & Create. Art Activity & chat

11.30-1.00pm. BYO bring your own project in.

1.30pm-3.00pm. Creating An Art Journal

6-8pm. Experimenting with Textiles: crochet, Weaving and Embroidery.

Everything can be booked on website and all proceeds contribute towards .communities community projects.

Had another extraordinary session with the masterly skilled 93 year old.

Sometimes he struggles to hold all the materials I pass him, he only has one strong eye and he is creating the most extraordinary work which captures everything perfectly.

It's very easy to overdo your work he never does.

It's a complete joy to watch him create.

Please never say never.
