Bathroom design: after and before…

Gorgeous travertine, crafty lighting and a couple of large mirrors create a little bit of magic in what was previously a rather boring square bedroom with limited natural daylight. I absolutely love the results!! Thankfully so does my client who is cherishing the calm in a busy household🥰 Big thanks go to Jules from Cotswold Stone & Wood Tiles for the beautiful travertine and Simon from John Nicholls Kitchens & Bathrooms for the bathroom fittings.

“I like my house but I want to love it” was my brief when I started working with this lovely client nearly two years ago. This bedroom is the first to receive treatment and I absolutely love it! Thankfully so does my client🙏 Carpentry by colours by Little Greene window treatment and headboard cushions by Willow & Whyte Interiors fabrics by Jane Churchill Fabrics

Thank you so much Rapture & Wright for a fascinating insight this afternoon into how you create your beautiful fabrics and manage your waste water. Fabulous! I loved it!🌿

Keeping it real! When designing a dressing room it is always fun to work out how to make it look stylish once being used. However with this job I completed earlier this year I didn’t get access to photograph it until my lovely clients were well and truly moved in. As a result this shot shows how it is really used!

The design brief was to create separate dressing and sleeping areas in a large bedroom with the division creating a dramatic feature wall. My clients like simple pared down and practical interior design so this was happily approved.

Clearly unfinished in these shots taken last year and still not completely finalised, but I love this cloakroom where Harlequin’s fabulous Demoiselle wallpaper was chosen by my client. The room is not large so for the full effect I designed cabinetry around proposed storage with the shaker inserts papered in the same dragonflies and the edges painted in a co-ordinating colour to immerse the room in the design🤍

Second bathroom in Warwickshire with more beatiful tiles from Jules and stunning cabinetry from . I really love a light and airy bathroom with lush natural surfaces offering a calm environment and mirrors extending a space beyond its given confines. This was particularly the case in the first bathroom which was really just a box of a room🌿

Finished and before shots of one of two bathrooms completed for Warwickshire clients last year. The rest of the project overran and so I only just got these photos from a job that started at the beginning of 2024! Clients and I both pleased with the light and airy results! Stunning tiles from Jules❤️

A bit of curtain creation by wonderful Amanda at and window dressing by me for a couple of my clients last month. I’m gradually seeing some completions to projects I have been working on over the last year or so. More to follow soon!🌿
