Starting another batch of natural yogurt tonight reminded me I’d never done my planned post 🤦‍♀️

Cost saving of making natural yogurt 💷
Milk costs approx £1.80

To buy a good quality natural yogurt equivalent weight would be approx £4

We make this size of batch at least twice a week so over a year will save £200+ on yogurt alone

No artificial additives

✨ Sometimes it’s the simple meals that remind me why I love my Thermomix so much… ✨

Yesterday I popped round to a very good friend’s house for a cheeky Bank Holiday lunch and she’d made cauliflower cheese soup in her TM6. 🥣

We also got to try some Polish pierogi (yum! 😋), and I’d rustled up a homemade mixed seed loaf to take along and mop up the soup.

And THAT bread… 😍🍞

Crunchy, seedy crust, beautifully soft inside and made from scratch. There’s something ridiculously satisfying about making your own bread — particularly when the Thermomix does all the hard work of mixing and kneading for you!

Fast forward to tonight and the TM7 was back on duty for dinner…

🐟 Salmon
🍚 Basmati rice
🥕 Steamed carrots
🥬 Steamed cabbage
😋 And a gorgeous creamy dill sauce

But here’s the bit I love…

It was all being cooked together.

While the rice cooked below, the salmon and vegetables were steaming above in the Varoma. One machine, several parts of dinner, all getting on with it at the same time. 🙌

And THAT is the bit about Thermomix ownership I sometimes struggle to explain.

Yes, it chops.
Yes, it weighs.
Yes, it blends, kneads, mixes, sautés, steams and cooks.

But for me, the real magic is that it makes cooking from scratch feel achievable on an ordinary day.

It’s homemade bread without standing kneading dough.

It’s soup without several pans and a blender.

It’s salmon, rice, vegetables and sauce without having half the hob occupied and a mountain of washing up waiting afterwards. 😂

It doesn’t mean I suddenly have hours to spend cooking.

It means I don’t need them. ❤️

If you’ve been following my page for a while and still find yourself wondering “but what would I actually use one for?”, drop me a message.

Tell me what you normally cook in a week and I’ll happily show you what a Thermomix could do with it. 🥰

Keto cheddar biscuits - I made these nut free!! 💛

We’ve made these lots of times before and love the recipe ❤️

Today I was making them for our meeting and all food needs to be nut free 💚

An easy substitute was pumpkin seeds with a shorter grind than for almonds. 💜

Everything else remained the same including the tasty result!! 💖

What substitutes have you tried in recipes? ⬇️⬇️

We’d highly recommend this recipe either with or without nuts!!

💚 Glasgow Kick Off Meeting this morning 💚

Yes, we were a small group this morning… but that certainly didn't stop us from making plans and getting excited about the next couple of months!

We talked about the amazing time we had at **Conference in Brighton** and, hopefully, inspired a few more people to aim for the incentive that could see them joining us at "Conference in London in 2027!" ✨

We also shared all the exciting incentives, gifts and commissions that are available in **September & October** for introducing other people to the Thermomix opportunity. 🎁💰

Of course, we couldn't have a Thermomix meeting without cooking something! 😋
We made a "quick and easy recipe", shared the food everyone had brought along, and generally chatted about all things Thermomix.

Because sometimes the best part of a meeting isn't what's on the agenda… it's the conversation, the ideas and the people around the table. 💚

And we're always happy to welcome new faces!

"So… who would like to come along to our next meeting?" 👋

If you'd like to find out more about being part of our Thermomix community, just send me a message.

And that got me thinking…

Hello everyone! 🙋‍♀️

I’ve been a wee bit quiet on here lately, but I promise my Thermomix hasn’t been! 😂

Autumn is slowly beginning to creep in—I had to use my headlights the other evening, and I wasn’t emotionally prepared for it! 🤣🍂

Last week brought some fantastic cooking classes across South Lanarkshire and Edinburgh, with brilliant turnouts, plenty of chatter and, most importantly, lots of delicious food! 🥰

Meanwhile, my own lot were treated to:

🌯 Chicken gyros with homemade tzatziki
🥕 Chunky vegetable soup
🐷 Chimichurri pork with warm rice salad
🍛 Chicken garam masala
🧀 Cauliflower cheese soup
🌶️ Fajitas

And then there were all the goodies made for our cooking-class and tasting table:

🥭 Frozen coconut and mango lemonade—which I’m very keen to try with a wee grown-up tipple added! What would you suggest? Rum? Malibu? Something else? 🍹

🍫 Champurrado—a wonderfully rich Mexican chocolate drink. We added vanilla ice cream to the leftovers and turned it into a milkshake… highly recommended! 😋

💛 Mango dessert with passion fruit—a really quick, light and refreshing pud.

🧁 Madeleines.

🍋 Chiffon cake al limone—absolutely gorgeous, although a wee bit faffy to make! My first egg-white mixture started separating after standing too long in a warm kitchen 🤦‍♀️ I’m going to translate the recipe, rearrange the method so it makes more sense, create my own version and share it with you.

🌹 Cardamom and rose shortbread—which received the official seal of approval from my chief shortbread taster when I delivered a piece to her at work! 🎉

So, although the page has been quiet, my TM7 has most definitely been earning its keep! Which one would you choose from the menu? 😍

💚 Monday is meetings day! 💚

Today there was a face to face Glasgow meeting and I was also running the zoom cookalong for Scotland tonight!

Same recipe different result - all down to adding some dark chocolate - thanks to the suggestion by one of my colleagues Linda Ruth 🙏

Really quick and easy - a great school snack!
