Today, we were pleased to welcome Richard Holden to one of our resident studios, Craft Arena.

The studio is currently displaying artwork created by pupils from Northland School in Basildon, who joined us today and were excited to see their creations on exhibition.

The project was delivered in partnership with Creative Basildon and was inspired by the much-loved children’s poem The Owl and the Pussycat. Through their artwork, the children showcased their creativity, imagination and enthusiasm, producing a fantastic collection that brightens the studio and brings our community together.

It was wonderful to see the pride on the children’s faces as they shared their work with visitors. The Craft Arena are delighted to support opportunities that celebrate young talent.

As you can see from the photos, the children did an amazing job – well done to everyone involved!
