Your kitchen or bathroom is complete. But what happens if something needs attention later on? 🏠

For many homeowners, that can be one of the main worries that comes with a refurbishment.

Our Signature Refresh Aftercare Visit means we proactively return around 6 to 12 months after completion to check everything is still working and settling as it should.

It’s all about making sure you still feel looked after once the work is complete.

The final chapter of our own kitchen refurbishment ✨

After sharing some of our own experience of living through a kitchen refurbishment, from planning for the disruption and setting up a temporary kitchen to making all those small decisions along the way, it feels good to share the finished result.

We went with Howdens Chilcomb units in Marine Blue, paired with their knurled brushed aged brass effect handles, with Basilica Stone Marbled Aspen worktops sitting on top.

The lighting was another detail we really wanted to get right, with Tatty Bird introducing us to Pooky lighting for the wall lights and pendants over the table.

Going through the process ourselves has refreshed our appreciation of what customers experience during a refurbishment. The finished room is important, but so is everything that happens before you get there.

And now we finally get to enjoy it 🏠

You expect there to be some big decisions when planning a new kitchen, but it’s often the little ones that you end up having to think about in the moment.

When we did our own kitchen, it was a good reminder of just how many there are.

Handles, socket positions, which way doors open, where shelves should sit... and plenty more.

We know it can feel like a lot when everything is happening at once, so we’re always happy to share our experience and help customers think through those details as the kitchen takes shape.
