A job we completed this week out in Ash. We installed the fabulous J2flooring Natural timbers range in colour blonde oak to this conversion👌🏻

We used ardex.uk K40 flow to create a smooth subfloor to install the LVT and then used their high temperature adhesive AF195 due to the bifolding doors ☀️

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter!!
The underlay and grippers are pivotal for the lifespan of your brand new carpet!
Here’s some pictures of an install this week with a 10mm ultra high density underlay 👌🏻
We complemented the thickness of the underlay by using deep base diamond 💎 grippers.
This helps with no dip around the perimeter of the room when using thicker underlays. We raised the door bars aswell to ensure the carpet is in contact with the pins to keep it in place.
All this underneath cormarcarpets Malabar wool 🐑 loop carpet will last for years to come! 🙌🏻

The American way! 🇺🇸
In the USA it is normal practise to have the carpet take the full shape of the stairs and not have the “waterfall” effect that is traditionally used over here.
These pictures are from a job we completed in Ramsgate showcasing that with a wool loop carpet. All prepared on top quality 9mm underlay and diamond 💎 gripperrods with new door bars.

A communal hall, stairs and landing completed this week in Broadstairs. We uplifted the old and tired flooring and replaced with this hard wearing supacord carpet in colour Sherwood 🟢
We used F3 adhesive to stick the carpet all over to ensure a long lasting install.
We also including a coir matting at the entrance.

Busy start for us at Birchington Carpets this year. Finished the week off with this stair runner and 2 bedrooms. The black whipping giving it that smart finish and all prepped on high density 9mm underlay and diamond grippers with raised gold door bars 👌🏻

Here is pictures of one plot of 3 new build houses we’ve completed recently in Margate.
We used the .uk system to combat residue moisture in the new concrete slab and provide a perfect subfloor before we installed rustic textures luxury vinyl tiles.
Carpets are a grey polypropylene carpet by Valley wholesalers all installed on diamond gripperrods, 10mm underlay and raised door bars in silver 👌🏻

A job from this week using kellarsflooring Chatsworth range in colour navy. An 80/20 wool mix carpet on a high density 10mm underlay by Floorwise and using the deep base grippers to ensure no dipping around the edge 👌🏻

Over Easter our hours will be the following:

Easter Sunday - CLOSED
Easter Monday - CLOSED
Tuesday 22nd - Back to normal hours.

A recent job we completed in Margate. British made Cormar’s Inglewood saxony range on a top quality 10mm Cloud 9 connoisseur underlay. We used deep base gripper to be the same level as the underlay and black door trims to match the customers door handles 👌🏻🖤
