At many craft fairs, our bamboo bead bracelets have been one of the most popular designs 🌿✨

Over the past few days, after adjusting and refining some details, I created new panda 🐼 and peanut 🥜 bead designs combined with traditional bamboo-style beads. I truly love these Chinese-style traditional elements — simple, peaceful, and full of handmade warmth.

Such an enjoyable way to start the new year ✨

We made little toys together using mugwood filling 🐯🌿

Crafting by hand brings a special kind of joy, allowing us to slow down, connect, and create with intention. Mugwood has long been used in Chinese tradition for its calming qualities and symbolic protection.

Filling the toys with mugwood adds meaning, warmth, and a sense of peace to each handmade piece.

✨ Chinese bracelets—also known as red cords or multicoloured cords—carry symbols. They’re worn for good fortune, safety, and protection, especially during your zodiac year or festivals like the Dragon Boat Festival.

In bracelet-making, you get to choose your favorite colours and beads. I love experimenting with different beads for my projects!😉
