I think I’ve found a new hobby 😅. It’s that time of year… teacher gifts on the brain! This bible was kindly donated to my book hutch, so I chose to decorate the page edges for my son’s Headteacher (he attends a Catholic school and the picture is copied from the beautiful window art you see as you walk up to the main building 🤩) ###

These are their favourite stories - I substituted the character names for names of everyone in the English department, with them as the protagonists as a personalised touch 📚🤗

An Easter holiday project 📚🐰. I have a (rather battered and bruised) brick to weigh down the book hutch donation box outside my house. It needed a facelift - a literary one 🤗, and so here it is, new and improved! How lovely would it be to create a library of brick books as a garden feature? 😍. Unfortunately that would take a lot more Easter holidays ☺️🌼 x

I’ve not posted for so long... busy working on my latest and greatest makes - my two beautiful sons 🥰💙💙. Maternity leave #2 and lockdown has finally given me the opportunity to turn the space under the stairs into my craft cupboard 😍 - finally somewhere to house all kinds of sparkly trinkets and bits and bobs 👍🏻.
Here’s my most recent piece - it’s a gift to Henry’s ‘key person’ at nursery (and don’t we all know, at all times - especially during this pandemic - nursery nurses are up there working incredibly hard to bring smiles and normality to our little ones). The paper inside reads ‘I feel safe in Aisha’s bubble’, complete with a figure of Aisha and Henry and finished with a rainbow necklace as the hanging chain.
