Introducing Arden & Rowe Opticians 👓

A new retail concept designed to feel calming, premium and understated, creating a more considered optical retail experience from the moment customers step inside.

👉 The layout is all about making the customer journey feel easy and personal.

Clear sightlines to the frame displays, refined product presentation that lets the eyewear speak for itself, and relaxed consultation areas that feel comfortable and private, without turning the space into a maze.

The softer drapery, carefully balanced lighting and clean architectural detailing do a lot of work here too, shaping the atmosphere and creating that sense of quiet luxury, while still keeping the focus on the frames.

🪵 Material-wise, it’s rich walnut timber, tonal terrazzo, soft stone tones and textured fabric, layered together to create warmth, depth and softness throughout the space.

Everything is designed to feel contemporary but timeless, elevating the perception of both the Arden & Rowe brand and the optical experience itself.

We're on site with Chummys Bakery 📍

Katie recently visited the Droitwich site to walk the space and talk through the plans in more detail, getting a real feel for how everything will come together 🧁

These meetings are about understanding how the space will work day to day, from the main counter and product displays, to the retail area behind the counter that will help tell the Chummy’s brand story and connect back to the online brownie and cupcake delivery boxes they’re already known for 📝

The design is set to create a warm, inviting first physical space for Chummy’s, with a refined material palette and a small seating area where customers can enjoy their bakes with a cup of coffee.

We’re already seeing it take shape, and we’ll be sharing more updates as soon as we can 👀

A direction built around calm confidence, tactile materials, and a retail experience that feels curated from the moment someone steps inside, right through to consultation and checkout.

✨ Warm stone and timber tones that bring softness and depth
✨ Curves, arches and drapery to create gentle zoning without closing the space in
✨ Product displays designed as feature moments, with lighting doing the shaping
✨ A muted, earthy palette that keeps the brand and packaging as the hero
✨ Considered layout thinking that supports flow, storage, and the day-to-day realities behind the scenes

More to come as we develop this into full visuals and start breaking down the design decisions.

Here is your first look at Chummys Bakery 😍

From brand to space, this is where it really starts to come to life ✨

🍰 A bakery designed to feel warm, refined and welcoming, with a layout that puts the product at the heart of the experience. The counter area has been designed to hero the bakes, with a large ambient display for brownies, cookies and cupcakes, while the rear counter brings freshly baked breads into the space.

There’s a real balance coming through already, somewhere that supports a quick visit, a browse of the retail display, or a moment to sit down and enjoy something freshly baked with a coffee.

Independent brands like Chummy’s deserve spaces that tell their story, and this one’s shaping up exactly as it should 🙌

We’ll be sharing more as this one progresses... it’s already starting to take shape 👀

This was a project that was always about feeling as much as it was about finish.

Working closely with Liam Dillon, the vision for The Boat was clear from the start, create a space that reflects the same care, depth and detail as the food itself.

👉 Natural textures, layered lighting, and a palette grounded in warm, earthy tones all come together to shape something that feels calm, considered and quietly confident. From more intimate corners to open dining spaces, every area has been designed to feel connected, yet distinct.

This was such a brilliant project to be part of, and a great example of what happens when a clear vision is met with experienced design thinking 🤩

What an outcome! 👏

We’re working on something behind the scenes, and this is your first glimpse at how it’s starting to take shape 🤩

📍 Chummy’s are opening their first physical café and shop in Droitwich, after 6 successful years operating online, and we’re helping bring their brand into a space that feels just as refined as the product itself.

This is going to be a visually striking take on a traditional bakery, with a contemporary edge ✨
Warm, natural materials, refined details, and a layout designed to keep the focus exactly where it should be, on the bakes 🍰

A dental studio that doesn’t feel like a dental studio 👀🦷

This is how our moodboard direction translates into real spaces, calm, premium and reassuring from the first step inside, while still delivering the clarity and performance a clinical setting demands.

✨ Across the reception, waiting area and treatment rooms, the design is doing two jobs at once, creating a welcoming experience for patients, and supporting the practical realities behind the scenes.

✨ It’s the details that make it work, joinery that integrates storage and hides the functional kit, layered lighting that softens the mood, tactile materials chosen for durability, and a layout that supports flow and privacy throughout.
