Who loves a huge nouveau Art deco mural wall?

in Los Angeles has a beautiful Art deco tropical mural wall in their restaurant that we absolutely adore! The theme of the restaurant is tropical flair mixed with vintage Hollywood glam created by Dave Woodall and Alexis Martin Woodall – We love.

Did you know we design books?

Design and concept for a new Indian cookbook, Cook with Love is as much a family story as it is and Indian cookbook. Following numerous conversations between Enna Lakhani, co-owner of Bobby’s, and Tony Matters, designer and founder of Faber, Cook with Love was conceived to reflect a family's journey from the Gujarat region of India, via Uganda, to finally settle in the UK.

Working with our publishing partner, Away With Media, their family story is told through the sharing of recipes passed down through the generations.

As designers, we felt it was important to not simply create ‘just another Indian cookbook’. Having worked with Enna and husband Dharmesh on the reimagining of Bobby’s restaurant a few years earlier, we felt there was a unique story to be told.

The end result works on two levels; firstly, a collection of incredible recipes; and secondly, the story of a family, told through the food they cook and the community they helped to build.

OUR LATEST PROJECT -

We are proud to work with such a great Birmingham Independent “Damascena” in creating their latest Middle Eastern coffee shop in Edgbaston.

The new venue in Lyndon House offers Indoor and outdoor seating with a Middle-Eastern feel throughout. Interior and design to reflect the majesty of the Middle East, It boasts a spacious heated outdoor seating area and will also house the business’s headquarters.

We are proud to have worked on this and so happy to see the doors finally open and see you all enjoying it!

Vibrancy and character. Our mood board for one of the UK's leading Vietnamese street food brands at The Bullring, Birmingham.

Our aim was to capture and create the vibrant streets of Vietnam through out the two floors of the restaurant just outside the Bullring and The one floor Resorts World venue. We loved working on this project and seeing our mood boards come to life is truly incredible to see.

THE SIREN HOTEL...WOW!
Design development firm ASH NYC overhauled a derelict historical building in downtown Detroit with the help of Quinn Evans Architects to create The Siren Hotel.
Design development firm ASH NYC overhauled a derelict historical building in downtown Detroit with the help of Quinn Evans Architects to create The Siren Hotel

The design of the hotel's interiors mixes details from the building's past with bold colours and luxurious materials.Very little historical detail remained in the building's lobby, so Heckman's team referred to an article from 1926 that described the space as it looked then in order to recreate it.

Amongst the hotel's numerous food and beverage spaces is a restaurant named Albena, which represents a minimal departure from the decadent style employed throughout much of the building

Bia Vietnam is a draught beer, created by the founders of VSK, the Vietnamese street food restaurant brand. Wanting to create a beer that complemented the flavours of their food, they took the leap to create their own beer.

The focal point for the brand is a hand illustrated dragon, created by tracing the outline of the map of Vietnam. The colour palette is derived from the flag of Vietnam and typography has an eroded appearance, referencing the street food origins of the product.

Creating a flavour profile that works well alongside the spice and vibrant flavours of Vietnamese street food was a key driver in the creation of this draught beer for VSK. From a branding perspective, the visual identity needed to reference the values and culture of Vietnam.

Occupying a railway arch in London’s buzzing Flat Iron Square, Bar Douro was created to bring authentic Portuguese food and wine to London. Sit at the counter in our azulejos-tiled dining room and watch the chefs meticulously work in the open kitchen.

Part of Coombe Abbey Visitor Centre in Warwickshire, the shop sells a delicious curation of the finest produce from regional suppliers to guests at

Our task was to create a "farm shop" style environment that met all modern food safety and accessibility standards. Its layout needed to showcase an eclectic mix of different (and often perishable) produce from a wide range of suppliers in an organised and attractive manner.

The Abbey Artisan Market features a deli counter, as well as simple shelving units punctuated by cart-style display stands. All made of wood, this creates a rustic, natural vibe in an otherwise minimalist environment that offers the refrigeration and spacious, well-lit accessibility of a modern supermarket. The simplicity of the shop's design and use of spotlights ensures that its stock takes centre stage
