Our next open evening will be taking place at our Kings Heath premises on Tuesday 29th September 2026 7-9pm.
Since we started our business in 2014, we have encouraged people to ask the questions that no one wants to ask, to find out more about what will happen to ‘their mom’ when she arrives, to come inside and look at what a mortuary should look like and to see how it should operate.
This is how families will really know what care will be provided and whether a particular funeral director is the right one for them.
Places are free, but limited (we're small but perfectly formed!) so call on 01214440437 to reserve a space.

It’s our 4th and final day here at Touchwood. We might not be what you’re expecting to see at a shopping centre but over the last few days we’ve had some brilliant conversations 💬- we’ve even been told by a few people that we made their day! 🎉
So if you’re nearby do come over and have a chat, ask us about doing funerals differently and you might be surprised what you find out.

We're bringing conversations about death and dying to Touchwood shopping centre over the next 3 days. If you're nearby come and ask us how to do funerals differently 😊
Today we have Caz from Wild Heart Coffins with us on the stand - she'll be weaving a coffin and inviting you to join in.

It will soon be time for this year's A Matter of Life and Death festival, organised by our friends at Brum YODO. Very proud to be one of the sponsors this year.
The programme is shaping up nicely, SO many creative ways to engage with death and dying across Birmingham. We'll be running our now traditional Meet the Undertakers Open Evening and a Funeral Wishes workshop- booking details will be here very soon. And hopefully we'll run into you at some of the other incredible events being held. 😍

We loved working with Victorian Carriages and their beautiful horses Frank and Paddy. And it was very kind of them to leave us a little present on the pavement. Which we used to keep our Brandwood Buzz flower box healthy! All part of our greener funerals promise 😄
