Our Story

Enamel Shades was started a decade ago from the comforts of Harry’s shed. We started out selling handcrafted fittings, repairing old lamps, and selling on second hand industrial lampshades. Eventually, things started to outgrow the shed, so Enamel Shades moved just down the road to a local trading estate. The product range started to incorporate more componentry, and one of the largest selections of fabric cable in the UK.

We still stay true to our beginnings, and carry out lamp repair work, as well as supplying trade, and the general public. Given our experience and knowledge, we’re always willing to advise if you’ve got something you’d like to turn into a lamp!

We also offer trade accounts, and we can offer you competitive pricing for large scale projects, so if you’re looking at buying bulk lamp spares, or even bespoke fittings, we’re happy to help.
