So,

On monday, we started a dog grooming salon, near Henley in arden.
Special order pink safety flooring, Polyflor Ltd Geotone quicklay, periwinkle pink

Work area cleared out, specialist dog sinks un plumbed and a customer expecting it fired in my end of play ready to trade the day after.

Little did we know the materials that were due monday morning hadn't been loaded on to the truck.

So in the ultimate quick reaction we drove up to the manufacturer in Manchester to collect it, straight back down the motorway and start installing at 3pm, just over 250 miles.

The job got completed ready and on time.

Thats the kind of dedication and service you get when you buy from us.

🚨 **Introducing: Flooring Insights From The Front Line** 🚨

After nearly 30 years in the flooring trade, we've seen just about everything.

Carpets rippling after only a couple of years.
Luxury floors failing because of poor preparation.
Property managers inheriting problems that were built into developments years earlier.
Cheap installations becoming expensive repairs.

We've decided to start sharing what we've learned.

Not marketing fluff.
Not recycled manufacturer brochures.

Just real-world flooring advice from projects we've actually worked on across Birmingham and beyond.

Inside you'll find articles covering:

✅ Why some carpets last 20 years and others ripple in 2
✅ The truth about power stretching and British Standards
✅ Slip-resistant flooring explained simply
✅ Common landlord flooring mistakes that cost money
✅ Lessons learned from Birmingham residential developments
✅ Flooring problems we repeatedly see on site

Whether you're a homeowner, landlord, property manager, facilities manager or simply curious about how flooring really works, there's something there for you.

If a single article helps you avoid an expensive mistake, it'll have done its job.

Burn mark? Gone.
Doorway? Worst place for a join — unless it’s done properly.
Kool Glide makes it disappear.
No lines. No lifting. No comeback. Just a seamless finish.

Carpet Horror Story 👀
Somewhere in Birmingham, a carpet fitter looked at this and said…
“yeah that’ll do.”
Loose as a trampoline.
Seams butchered.
About as much stretch as a wet sock.
Probably fitted with a knee kicker, a Stanley knife, and blind confidence.
But keep watching…
Because we’re about to show what happens when carpet is actually installed properly:
✔ Kool Glide joins
✔ Hand sewn bullnose
✔ Power-stretched installation
✔ British Standard fitting
The difference between “fitted” and fitted properly.

Most fitters won’t touch a job like this properly.

A 300 kg grand piano demands more than a standard install. This luxury supersoft carpet was fitted with high-density underlay and power-stretched to British Standard, ensuring it stays perfectly smooth and supported under serious weight.
With years of experience working in luxury homes, we know how to lift, protect, and install around pieces like this without compromise...
