Hi everyone, Alistair, Molly and Rebecca here! We are looking to reopen Mollys Tea Room and Antiques on the Green on or about the 7th of April 2025, if all goes well. Please let me know your feedback as it is a big task to undertake and we can only do this with the support of our old customers and friends of West Auckland and surrounding areas and our trusted antique dealers. As you know (or may not know) I have been very poorly over the last 10 months and have spent a lot of time in hospital, at one point I was on a life support machine for a short period of time. The thoughts of my family and friends kept me going which has spurred me on to reopen the shop and the tea room. There has been lots of rumours going around, but of course, this is to be expected as we had to close quite suddenly. We can only reopen the shop with the full support of the community and of course any help would be greatly appreciated. Once again, thank you all for your support. Good evening! We just have an update for you all. Unfortunately we will not be able to open up tomorrow, Saturday 2nd March, as we’d planned, we were hoping we’d all be better by now, but, we’re not (Alistair and Daisy) We do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused anyone. Please feel free to share this post and spread the message! We’d be grateful if you passed this on to anyone you know who visits us. Thank you!

Hello all! Just to let all of our costumers know, this week we will be open on Saturday 10.15 till 5pm.
So customers can come and visit and we can look after or usual Saturday gang (customers)
We are really struggling with staff and illness (combined) slight accidents ect ect. However we do and will always appreciate our lovely customers far and wide and it’s for those reasons past staff are helping to open the days we can. However there is going to be no overnight fix to our current situation and it looks like going forward we will only be open Saturdays for the next 2 weeks, so sadly if you have booked a table or event please contact us direct to rearrange. Hi everyone just a little news update on opening times for the shop and tea room .
We will be open this Saturday, the 17th of Feb 10.15 until 5pm
Thursday the 22nd of Feb 10.15 until 5pm
Friday the 23rd of Feb 10.15 until 5pm
Saturday the 24th of Feb 10.15 until 5pm .
We will let you know about further opening times as soon as we can.

Hello, another update for you all on the shop! Unfortunately the shop is still a little too wet for us to be able to open tomorrow as it hasn’t dried out as much as we’d hoped. We will therefore remain closed tomorrow (Friday 9th February). We will open as usual on Saturday at 10:15 and we will close at 5:00. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Hello everyone!
Quick update for all our loyal customers out there.
We’ve good news and not so good news. We’re going to reopen the shop and Mollys on Thursday the 1st of February 10.30am. That’s the good news.
Now for the not so good news!
We will only be open Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays for the whole of February. It gets worse, we will be operating with a slimmed down menu for February.
Staff levels will be low so please bear with us when you visit.
Saturdays will be as close to normal as we will have more staff available. On a good note Stevie is a little better.
Thank you for all the support you’ve given us in the past and we look forward to seeing on the 1st of February.

Hi everyone, we hope you’ve had a great Xmas and new year.
Unfortunately we are unable to reopen the shop tomorrow Wednesday the 10th. As you may know there’s been a few viruses around over the Xmas period and unfortunately Stevie, our head man, was unfortunate to have succumbed to one. Good news he’s on the mend, but still a bit weak. So we’ve taken the decision not to reopen till he is fully fit and firing on all cylinders so to speak. We hope this won’t be too long and will keep you all updated.

Hi, we’d like to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As most of you already know, today (21st December), was our last day before our Christmas holiday. We would be looking to reopen round about 10th January. If we can open earlier we will let everyone know. Once again, we wish you all a merry Christmas and thank you for your custom in 2023. Hi as you all know it’s about this time of year we relay to you our winter opening hours. This time it’s a little different as we have decided to change our working days. From this week we will be opening.
Wednesday 10am till 4pm
Thursday 10am till 4pm
Friday 10am till 4pm
Saturday 10am till 4.30 pm
During school holidays we will return to normal opening days staff permitting. We know that some people will be disappointed but with the current climate and the fact that staff have children affected by school closures this is the best we can do to sustain the business and allowing parents to be at home with there children whilst they are remote learning.
Thank you for your understanding and we will endeavour to serve the little community of west Auckland as best we can.

Hi everyone. Just a quick note for your Diary. Antiques on The Green and Mollys Tea Room will be closed from Sunday the 3rd of September until Tuesday the 12th of September. We will be reopening at 10 am. This is our well earned staff Holiday.

Hello! Just an update from us here at Mollys Tea Room and Antiques on The Green! We’d like to confirm that we are open as usual tomorrow (Saturday 6th May!). Pop along and say hello! We’ll be serving all of our usual delights in Molly’s (including our fantastic scones - the best Coronation snack you could ever have!). We look forward to seeing you all 😊
