COSY SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED at our Bishops Stortford showroom 🍂

We've just swapped out our curtain displays to bring in warmer tones, heavier textures, and that proper autumn-into-Christmas feel, think rich golds, deep rust, soft wool-look weaves, and fabrics that actually look better the darker it gets outside.

If you've been putting off sorting your curtains, this is your sign. Quality curtains make such a difference to how a room feels once the heating goes on, they trap the warmth, block out those early dark evenings, and instantly make a space feel more pulled together for hosting season.

Pop into our High Street showroom (right by Host) and have a feel of the new display yourself, no appointment needed, we're always up for a browse and a chat about what would work in your space.

We're already taking bookings for made-to-measure curtains ahead of the Christmas rush, so if you want yours fitted in time, now's the time to start the conversation.

This is how we turn an ordinary bed into a hotel-worthy focal point!

It always starts with fabric. At out Bishops Stortford showroom, we stock an amazing collection of fabrics. We work with your colour scheme, finding patterns and textures that will compliment. You can see them in store, and we can order samples for you to look at in your own home, against your own furniture. No guessing from a swatch on a screen.

Then comes the best part: styling it all into the room. We arrange, layer, and finish everything so it reads less "high street throw pillow" and more "five-star hotel suite."

Bespoke soft furnishings are one of our favourite services. If your cushions, curtains, or lampshades don't quite match your walls, your sofa, your bed, or your vision, off-the-shelf isn't going to cut it. That's exactly what we're here for.

Based in Bishops Stortford and covering Harlow, Stansted, Ware, and the surrounding areas, we work with homeowners who want their home to feel considered, not thrown together.

Pop into our High Street showroom (near Host) to feel the fabrics for yourself, no appointment needed. We love a browse and a chat!

A SECOND VISIT SAYS IT ALL 👏

We love it when a client comes back, and this review from one of our repeat customers made our week. Having had their flooring done by us previously, they were back in to chat all things curtains, and once again left impressed by exactly the same thing: a friendly, no-pressure experience from start to finish.

No hard sell, no awkward upselling, just honest advice and a team who genuinely wants to help you get your space right. Whether it's flooring, curtains, or a full room refresh, that's the same approach every single person gets when they walk through our door on Bishops Stortford High Street, right by Host.

If you're weighing up a project big or small, pop in for a browse and a chat. No appointment ever needed, we're just as happy to help you figure out your options as we are to get the tape measure out.

Thank you to our lovely customer for trusting us a second time, it means the world 🤍

A DAY IN THE LIFE of your Bishops Stortford interior designer 🧵

6am starts aren't glamorous, but this job never really is just about the finished room. It's loading the van with fabric samples for a home visit in Ware, sometimes it's up a ladder fitting made-to-measure curtains so they sit perfectly against a larger window.

This is what people don't see when they scroll past a finished reveal: the measuring, the sourcing, the stitching, the fitting. Every curtain, cushion and lampshade you see us install has been handpicked from our vast showroom selection, not ordered off a website and hoped for the best.

If you're a homeowner in Bishops Stortford,Stansted or Ware dreaming of a hotel-worthy room but dreading the hassle of DIY measuring and getting up ladders, this is exactly why we exist. pop into the showroom on the High Street near Host for a browse and a chat. No appointment ever needed.

Developers and new build teams, this is the same process and care we bring at scale too.

SWIPE TO SEE THE BEFORE 👉 You will not believe this is the same living room.

This space has gone from tired to properly bright and liveable. Sometimes it's not a full gut job that transforms a room, it's getting the soft furnishings right.

This is exactly the kind of refresh we love doing for homeowners across Hertfordshire & Essex. We'll talk you through what's possible with your budget, no appointment needed, just pop into our High Street showroom near Host for a chat.

Not every day looks the same when you're in the business of making homes feel right ✨

Today's mix: a warm welcome from a client's dog (genuinely the best part of this job), signing off on a finished room transformation that's gone from flat to full of character, a showroom refresh so everything's looking its best, and new fabric and flooring samples checked over and ready to see in person.

This is the bit people don't always see, the process behind made-to-measure curtains, bespoke soft furnishings, and full room styling for homes across Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Stansted and Ware.

And just to say it again: samples aren't something we drop round to your door. That's what the showroom is for! Pop in to get a feel of the fabrics, see the true colours under proper light, and talk through your space with us, no appointment ever needed.

Bishops Stortford High Street, right by Host. Open door, always happy to see you.

Made to measure motorised blinds are one of those things you don't know you need until you see them in action, one touch and the whole room changes, no cords, no fuss, no getting up to fiddle with the pull at 6am.

We've been adding these into more Bishops Stortford homes lately as part of full room refreshes, and honestly, it's the small luxury that makes the biggest difference day to day.

Fancy seeing them for yourself? Pop into the showroom on the High Street, no appointment needed, we love a browse and chat.
