I received a package in the mail yesterday, one I'd sent and was being returned to sender. I noticed the date on the red 'return' label as being 9th May, and wondered why it had taken until 22nd June to get back to me. I then noticed that the date I'd sent the package was 9th December 2022, making a delay of 6 weeks pale in comparison. Where has this package been for three-and-a-half years, and how on earth can Royal Mail be so incredibly useless? The fact that the package arrived at my house at the same time as a letter from Royal Mail apologising for another example of ineptitude and sending me financial compensation speaks volumes . . .
