I have surrendered the alcohol licence for the Westcliffe so won’t be able to serve alcohol to guests after 31st August 2026. Any guest can bring their own alcohol and drink it on the premises but it will be no longer lawful for me to provide alcohol to guests.
I have been asked if I can give wine to guests with a meal without taking payment, this is NOT permitted without a licence as it is presumed that payment for the wine is included with the holiday and therefore IS charged for. Basically bring your own - and one for me!
