The Journey to Doncaster: 12 Months in the Making
Just sharing a few more moments from the Trade Stove & Fireplace Professional Show.
Twelve months ago, the Trade Stove & Fireplace Professional Show was just an announcement.
We didn’t have a stand design, everything ready to launch, or a clear idea of what the final stand would look like. But we knew we wanted to be there.
From the beginning, the aim was to bring both sides of the business together: Stove Industry Supplies, the trade supplier many of our customers know us for, and Hamer Fires, the British stove manufacturing business we’ve been building behind the scenes.
Rather than using an exhibition company, we built the stand ourselves.
The walls, signage, displays, trade counter and product stands were designed, built, transported and assembled by our own team. It was chaotic at times, but seeing it come together in Doncaster made every late night worth it.
The stand gave visitors the chance to see where Stove Industry Supplies started, where Hamer Fires is today, and where we’re heading next.
From the Basset stove to the new Airedale, our 3D polished concrete heatshields and hearth products, it was great to finally show people what we’ve been working on.
But the best part of the weekend was the people.
Meeting customers, speaking to installers, retailers and chimney sweeps, and hearing such positive feedback made the whole experience worthwhile.
Thank you to everyone who visited, supported us and shared their thoughts.
And a huge thank you to MAC, my dad, the warehouse team and the fitting team for helping bring it all to life.
Twelve months in the making, and hopefully just the beginning.
