Yesterday was simply magical and the most wonderful way to spend a June Thursday celebrating the marriage of the lovely Holly & Chris. 🤍

Our day began with Jason delivering Holly’s beautifully fragrant bridal bouquet, created in an all-ivory palette to perfectly complement her elegant gown. Filled with roses, peonies, sweet peas, stocks, gypsophila, rosemary and eucalyptus, the bouquet had a wonderfully relaxed feel, as though it had been freshly gathered from a beautiful country garden.

Holly was surrounded by an incredible eleven bridesmaids and flower girls, each carrying a smaller version of her bouquet, creating the most beautiful and timeless bridal party.

Jason then made his way to St Michael’s Church, Kirkham, where two of our fresh flower FD Flower Bombs framed the ceremony space so beautifully. Chris and his groomsmen were waiting to receive their elegant ivory rose buttonholes, ready for the arrival of the bridal party.

Watching Holly and her bridesmaids make their way along the long pathway towards this magnificent church was such a special moment. The scent of fresh flowers filled the air as family and friends gathered to witness Holly and Chris exchange their vows.

Following the ceremony, our team carefully relocated the church florals to Bartle Hall, where the Flower Bombs were transformed into stunning reception table centrepieces, allowing the flowers to continue playing a beautiful part throughout the celebrations.

Massive congratulations to Holly & Chris. Thank you for choosing us to be part of such a special day. We wish you a lifetime filled with happiness, love and wonderful memories together.

There are some weddings that feel truly magical from the very first moment, and Rachel & Lee’s beautiful wedding at Treales Church was certainly one of them 🤍

As guests arrived, they were greeted by an abundance of fresh flowers surrounding the church entrance. A romantic floral arch overflowing with Roses, Peonies, Sweet Peas, Lilac, Lily of the Valley and seasonal blooms framed the doorway beautifully, while traditional milk churns filled with flowers stood proudly on either side, a wonderful tribute to Rachel’s farming heritage.

Inside the church, flowers lined the aisle from beginning to end. Delicate pew ends and elegant floral pedestals created the most beautiful setting for Rachel and Lee’s ceremony, filling the church with colour, fragrance and romance.

The bridal party looked absolutely stunning. Rachel carried an exquisite bouquet featuring Lily of the Valley, Roses, Sweet Peas, Dicentra, Lilac, Peonies and many more beautiful blooms besides. Her fabulous Bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets, while the sweetest Flower Girls carried matching posies, creating a wonderfully cohesive look throughout the bridal party.

One of our favourite details was Rachel’s lovely mum’s wrist corsage, carefully designed to complement her outfit using flowers from the wedding palette. Such a delicate and meaningful touch for such an important person on the day.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. As Rachel arrived and made her way down the aisle, surrounded by flowers, family and friends, the church was filled with love, anticipation and emotion.

A truly beautiful day for a truly lovely couple.

Congratulations Rachel & Lee, and thank you for trusting us to create the flowers for such a special celebration 🤍

There is something so special about a wedding morning.

As the sun rose over Browsholme Hall, the gardens around the Mews Cottage provided the most beautiful setting for the presentation of Amy’s bridal bouquet and the bouquets for her wonderful bridesmaids.

Designed to capture the spirit of a wild English meadow, the flowers felt completely at home amongst the surrounding gardens. Delphiniums stretched gracefully towards the sky, weaving through delicate Foxgloves, Cornflowers, Campanula, Poppies and dancing grasses, whilst fragrant Sweet Peas, garden Roses and sumptuous Peonies brought romance, softness and beautiful scent to every bouquet.

Every design was entirely unique, reflecting the natural, organic style that Amy and I had developed together throughout the months leading up to her wedding day. The bouquets were gathered to feel whimsical and effortless, as though they had been freshly picked from a flourishing summer meadow.

Watching Amy see her bouquet for the first time was one of those moments that reminds us why we love what we do. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, excitement, laughter and happy anticipation filled the garden as the reality of the day began to unfold.

The flowers were never intended to simply decorate the wedding; they were designed to become part of the experience, telling a story of nature, romance and celebration from the very first moments of the day.

Amy looked absolutely beautiful, and we feel incredibly privileged to have played a small part in such a heartfelt and magical wedding.

One of our favourite moments on a wedding morning is delivering a bride’s bouquet and seeing all those months of planning come together.

On Saturday, Jason had the pleasure of presenting Sophie and her bridesmaid with their wedding flowers at the beautiful Gate House at Samlesbury Hall, ahead of Sophie’s marriage to Daryl.

Created in the softest shades of blush pink and ivory, Sophie’s bouquet was filled with exquisite fresh Peonies, fragrant Jasmine, Sweet Avalanche and Playa Blanca Roses, delicate Sweet Peas and beautiful Eucalyptus foliage. Romantic, elegant and wonderfully scented, it was the perfect bouquet for a summer wedding.

There is always such excitement in those final moments before a ceremony begins, and it was a joy to be a small part of Sophie & Daryl’s special day.

Huge congratulations to the happy couple. We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness and wonderful memories together. 💕

Huge congratulations to the wonderful Emma & Ryan on their beautiful wedding day at Bartle Hall. 🤍

There is something incredibly special about wedding flowers that are able to tell a story throughout the entire day, and Emma & Ryan's celebrations were a perfect example of this.

For their ceremony, we created magnificent floral designs to frame the aisle, with towering Flower Bombs overflowing with fragrant Roses, Hydrangeas, Stocks and Peonies displayed upon clear plinths. Between them, candlelit hurricanes nestled amongst lower floral arrangements created the most romantic atmosphere, beautifully illuminating the space as family and friends gathered to witness their vows.

One of our favourite moments was seeing Emma & Ryan pause for a kiss as they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife, surrounded by flowers, candlelight and so much love. A truly unforgettable moment.

Emma carried a timeless bouquet of White Cloud, Playa Blanca and Bridal Flow Roses with delicate French Ruscus, perfectly complementing her exquisite Maggie Sottero gown.

After the ceremony, whilst guests enjoyed the celebrations, our team carefully transported the floral designs across to the Coaching Barn, where they were transformed into stunning reception table centrepieces. The towering arrangements took on a whole new role, creating beautiful focal points throughout the room and filling the space with the wonderful fragrance of fresh summer flowers.

The exquisite cake by was adorned with fresh rosebuds and French Ruscus to echo the bridal bouquet, bringing another elegant floral touch to the day.

We absolutely love helping couples get the very most from their wedding flowers, ensuring they can be admired from the moment guests arrive right through to the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.

Thank you, Emma & Ryan, for allowing us to play a small part in such a beautiful day. It was a joy from beginning to end.

Sunday morning perfection at Longridge House for Max’s Christening 💙

We were delighted to be back at House creating a collection of beautiful fresh floral designs for such a special family celebration.

Working in a palette of soft powder blue and ivory, we designed a mixture of elegant tall table arrangements alongside abundant low centrepieces, creating a lovely balance throughout the room. Our flowers included delicate delphiniums, fragrant roses, exquisite peonies and luxurious hydrangeas, bringing natural beauty and timeless elegance to every table.

It was wonderful to see everything come together for Max’s special day and a pleasure to work alongside Balloon Boutique Events and Ribble Valley Soft Play, helping create a celebration for family and friends to enjoy.

Thank you for choosing us to be part of such a memorable occasion. 💙🤍

Congratulations to the lovely Hannah & Jack on their beautiful wedding day. 🤍

The couple were married at St Oswald's Church in Preesall before celebrating with family and friends at the stunning Bartle Hall, and what a joy it was to be part of their special day.

We spent many months planning alongside Hannah & Jack, carefully developing a floral design that reflected their vision of soft blush pinks and dusty blues. The colour palette worked beautifully with the bridesmaids' blue gowns and created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere throughout the day.

For the ceremony at St Oswald's Church, we dressed the space with fresh floral wreaths surrounding hurricane lamps displayed on pedestals, delicate floral pew ends lining the aisle and a beautiful floral swag adorning the altar.

Hannah carried a classic posy bouquet featuring luxurious peonies, Avalanche and Sweet Avalanche roses, sweet peas, forget-me-nots, hydrangeas, oxypetalum, gypsophilia, jasmine and eucalyptus foliage. Finished with ivory satin ribbon and pearl pins, it perfectly complemented her elegant Ronald Joyce by Veni Infantino gown from Amelia's Bridal in Clitheroe.

Following the ceremony, we carefully transferred the flowers to Bartle Hall, where they were repurposed to dress the tables in the Coaching Barn, allowing the floral story to continue seamlessly from ceremony to celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to Hannah & Jack for trusting us with such an important part of your wedding day. We wish you both a lifetime filled with love, happiness and wonderful memories together.

One of the things we love most about flowering weddings at Askham Hall is that the venue itself becomes part of the creative process.

Whenever we arrive, we always make time for a walk through the magnificent gardens. We take note of what is growing, what is flowering and what is capturing the eye that particular week. The herbs, fruits, vegetables, foliage and flowers all help to inform our designs, ensuring the wedding flowers feel connected to this remarkable place rather than simply placed within it.

For Jodie and Paul's beautiful wedding, I was fortunate enough to spend time chatting with one of the gardeners about our shared love of flowers and seasonality. It was a lovely reminder that whether in a garden or a wedding design, every flower has its moment to shine.

The reception barn looked absolutely beautiful. Handmade linens and crockery by the talented Tebbey & Co, artisan candle holders and carefully chosen stones collected by Jodie's father created a setting that felt elegant, meaningful and deeply personal.

Within this setting, our flowers found their perfect home.

Delicate fritillaria, sculptural alliums, beautiful hellebores and sumptuous peonies were arranged so that each flower could be appreciated individually. We wanted every stem to have space, movement and purpose, creating designs that felt natural, effortless and refined.

One of our favourite features was the long top table running through the centre of the barn. With guests seated on both sides, it created such a wonderful atmosphere of warmth, conversation and togetherness, exactly as a wedding celebration should.

Askham Hall is home to a Michelin-starred restaurant, where every detail is considered with care. We approached the flowers with the same philosophy, choosing blooms that were delicate rather than overpowering, elegant rather than ostentatious, allowing the flowers, food and setting to sit beautifully alongside one another.

Jodie and Paul's wedding was a celebration of thoughtful design, meaningful details and understated luxury, and we feel incredibly privileged to have been part of it. 🤍

There's something rather magical about watching a wedding venue transform. ✨

Today began with Jason loading the van with bucket after bucket of fresh flowers before we set off for Bartle Hall Hotel’s Styled Open Evening.

What followed was a complete floral transformation using some of the most beautiful blooms of the season; fragrant peonies, roses, hydrangeas, stocks, jasmine, hyacinths, dianthus, dahlias and so much more besides.

The ceremony setting at Bartle Hall now looks utterly breathtaking, but what photographs can never fully capture is the scent. The perfume from the flowers fills the space beautifully, creating an atmosphere that is every bit as memorable as the visual impact.

This video offers a little glimpse behind the scenes, from preparation in our workshop to the finished floral designs in Bartle Hall. However, the magnificent reception styling in the Coaching Barn really needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

If you're newly engaged and looking for wedding inspiration, there is still time to visit Bartle Hall's Styled Open Evening this evening. Time slots are available until 9pm, giving couples the opportunity to explore this stunning venue dressed for a wedding and meet the wonderful Bartle Hall team.

We have loved being part of today's transformation and can't wait for guests to experience it for themselves. 🌸

Have a look at the video and let us know which flower is your favourite.

One of the greatest privileges of being a wedding florist is witnessing those quiet moments before the celebrations begin.

On Jodie and Paul's wedding morning at Askham Hall, I had the pleasure of delivering the bridal flowers to a bridal suite filled with excitement, anticipation and laughter. Hair and makeup were being perfected, glasses were clinking, and the reality of the day ahead was just beginning to sink in.

Then came the moment Jodie saw her bouquet.

Created with the most beautiful blousy Peonies, fragrant Lily of the Valley, delicate Sweet Peas, garden Roses, trailing Jasmine and scented Philadelphus, it was designed to complement her stunning gown perfectly. Soft, romantic and naturally elegant, it embodied everything she had hoped for.

Her bridesmaids each received their own bouquets, thoughtfully designed as a softer reflection of the bridal flowers. Paired with their beautiful champagne gold gowns, they looked effortlessly graceful and perfectly suited to the surroundings of Askham Hall.

There is always something rather magical about seeing a bride hold her bouquet for the first time. Months of conversations, ideas, sketches and flower choices suddenly come together in a single moment. The flowers become more than flowers; they become part of the memories, the photographs and the story of the day itself.

Thank you, Jodie and Paul, for allowing us to play a small part in such a beautiful celebration. It was a joy to create for you.
