I had the pleasure of meeting Chris from NBS Vehicle Recovery today. I found myself stuck in a super sticky patch of mud on a very tricky secluded single-track road while operating my Window Cleaning works van, which was carrying an additional 500kg of weight due to a full tank of water on board. After searching for the nearest recovery firm, I discovered Chris was in my hometown.

I called Chris at 09:50 am and explained my situation. He immediately reassured me that the issue would be resolved today and urged me not to worry, citing his 20+ years of experience in vehicle recovery and his possession of all necessary equipment to address the situation. He promised to arrive ASAP after completing his current job, which was roughly 5 miles away from my location, estimated time of arrival of 11:00 am.

True to his word, Chris arrived and picked me up by 10:45 am, a full 15 minutes earlier than promised. During the journey to my stranded van, Chris shared insights about his family's multi-generational involvement in the vehicle recovery sector, including his invites to give talks & lectures at Truck Fests/Expos and his contributions to industry talks on best practices and techniques.

Upon arriving at my van, Chris calmly assessed the situation and explained the best course of action to free it. He provided clear, step-by-step instructions, ensuring I understood my role in the process and minimizing any potential for making the problem any worse.

After just 15 minutes of coordinated effort between us, including winching, readjusting, turning, and reversing, my van was liberated from the muds death grips, allowing me to resume my work schedule for the afternoon. Chris's expertise and professionalism were absolutely brilliant, earning him a perfect 10/10 rating and an A+++ recommendation. Also so nice for getting someone true to keeping their word & promises with accurate arrival times. I've saved his business card and contact details, and he will undoubtedly be my first call if I ever find myself in a similar problem again. Thanks again Chris :)

Apologies to all clients but the repeated dismal rain days in November & the forecasted fortnight long "freezing spell" we are currently in means all clients work is now running nearly a month behind :( The van system i have is prone to freezing when temperatures so below 0 degrees & i also do not wish risk many litres of water down on clients houses to make loads of ice and possibly cause injury. So i have chose to pause work until we are out of the freezing weather. I most likely not be able to get to everyone before Christmas now I'm afraid but will hopefully get back on regular schedule moving into January. One less bill £ this month will be of help to some. I have not forgotten about anyone, and will be with you to you as soon as i can once things improve. Many thanks Paul :)
