So I got called back to the wedding venue last week..

When charlotte asked me to come back in the evening to repurpose her wedding flowers into some mini bunches for their friends and family to take home I nearly bit her hand off.

Reasons I love this……

- reduces waste hugely!!!
- it’s like gifting your family and friends a bunch of flowers each
- you’ve already paid for the flowers so why not spread the joy???
- as a florist I get to see some little snippets of you having the best time ( we always miss this bit!!!!)
- people’s responses are just so good to getting gifted flowers you really can’t beat it. 💗💗💗💗💗

Two years🥹🌸

Two years ago, we opened the doors to BLÜM for the very first time… on an artisan market weekend, with a little shop, a LOT of flowers and absolutely no idea quite what the next two years would bring.

And now look at us!!!!

Two years of weddings, funerals, workshops, bouquets, events, celebrations, early mornings, late nights, muddy vans, flower deliveries, new friendships, brilliant customers and more flowers than I could ever have imagined.

The shop has changed. We’ve changed. BLÜM has grown.

But one thing hasn’t changed — how incredibly lucky we feel to have you supporting our little flower shop in Bolsover. 🤍

So, because we opened alongside the artisan market two years ago, it feels very fitting that we’re celebrating our second birthday alongside it this weekend.

There’ll be cake, fizz and flowers — and we’d absolutely love you to pop in and celebrate with us. 🥂🎂🌸

Thank you for two wonderful years.

Just a little reminder that behind the flowers, awards, weddings and running a business…

I am also just a woman who cannot be trusted with a set of shop keys lol

Sometimes I think people see a small business from the outside and assume you’ve got everything figured out.

You don’t.

You forget things.
You make mistakes.
You panic over things that happened weeks ago.
You occasionally ignore your own health & safety advice and nearly lose a finger

🤷🏻‍♀️

So here’s your reminder that nobody has it all together — especially me 😂🤍
