Physio are happy with the progress and we’re finally moving forward after a lot of waiting around for decisions due to all the injuries 🤞🏼

A HUGE day today ♥️ Went to have an appointment for what we thought was a new leg being made ( original prosthetic was lost we thought) but ended up having it there, being able to have a fitting and then they said lets get you stood up 🙏🏼 8 months later finally stood up only for a few seconds but this has seemed so far away and after almost every bone being broken from the pelvis down this is huge step forward for us ♥️ Ending this week very happy with our very own superhero ♥️

Today the girls had their final therapy session with the lovely Carol 💜

This isn’t something we ever thought we would need, but we are so grateful that this support was available to them.
As a little goodbye gift, they were each given a lovely box filled with activities, comforting messages, and tools to help them understand and manage their emotions whenever they need them

One of the questions we get asked the most is, “How are the girls doing?”

To see them at 10 & 5 yrs old cope with everything that was thrown at them 8 months ago has been incredible. Their strength, resilience, and ability to keep smiling continues to amaze us

The Critical Care team at Preston Hospital ( along with many others ♥️ ) were fantastic with them from the very beginning. They helped the girls understand what all the machines were for, what was happening with Daddy, and what to expect when they visited him for the first time

I was told so many times, “Children are more resilient than you think” and i worried as I only drip fed the girls information while Lewis was sedated, you never know what to do for the best and the person i always ask for advice first i couldnt 😔

The girls have been incredible throughout this journey, and they continue to be our reason to stay positive, keep moving forward, and stay strong 💪🏼❤️

We couldn’t be prouder of them 💕💕

Not my usual bathroom reveal, but here we are 🫠

This week we had this shower pod installed for Lewis so he can finally have a proper shower after more than 7 months of washing in a bed 🙄

It was only approved last week, and has taken just 2 days to install 👏🏼

Before all of this, we had no idea these even existed to help when you have no access to your bathroom like Lewis now

This was supplied & installed by . They’ve been great to deal with from start to finish 🚿.

A huge response to my story with this yesterday such amazing support off so many people ♥️ Iv been asked a few times to do a post so its easier to find -

I started speaking to our local MP about the lack of laws and the limited powers police have when it comes to removing a person’s driving licence after they cause an accident while under the influence of drink or drugs.

The number of people, including ourselves, who can’t believe this isn’t already in place has been incredible. It really feels like unless you go through something like this, you’d have no idea.

There is currently a survey being discussed in Parliament to gather public views on laws surrounding dangerous drink and drug driving. I have the link to it and will share on the next page

It’s not a quick survey, but if anyone can spare five minutes to complete it, it could genuinely help make a difference if these changes are passed.
