Started my Xmas card orders yesterday, working with the "Festive Joy" collection from Hunkydory. This one is from the "New Year, New Beginnings" topper set and I only used just the side panel of the cardstock with these beautiful snowdrops, along with the matching toppers. It happened that I also had matching papers (of course 😁) for my layers, and I couldn't resist adding some white colour drops for the falling snow ❄. The rest of the cardstock gave me a large 8x8 card, which is getting ready for the sh0p 😊

Good morning,
I have been a bit quiet while working on a second pumpkin spice blanket, this time for the sh0p. I will probably miss the "pumpkin" season by the time it is ready, but decided to make it now instead of waiting for next year, as I still remember all the good tips from the 1st time. Also had my first xmas orders as well, and starting another blanket crochet along in 10 days time, so things are going to be super busy for a while! 😁I will try to post a bit more often here, but I am quite dreadful at it as you probably have noticed already 😆

Had a great evening yesterday at the haberdashery event in Elphicks Farnham, cup of coffee, tea & biscuits while browsing all the goodies for me & my daughter, pizza & a game of darts for the boys of the family who had to hang around for a couple of hours. We got a few goodies, (only the yarn is mine 😆) and the evening came to an end with a little surprise for my daughter as she won one of the raffle prizes. it's becoming a little tradition for us now, and we are already looking forward for next year's event!

Did some needle felting with my daughter the other night, we are both quite rubbish at it but we always have so much fun! This time we made (or tried very hard to) mouse Christmas decorations. Totally worth the effort! 🐭🤣

Did anybody say "yarn delivery?" 😁 Saw the new CAL from Scheepjes and I couldn't resist! In 6 colourways, but the blues had me straight away, ordered the kit yesterday morning and already delivered today, now I just need to wait until 21st Oct to start... surely I can do that, right? 😆

I have been using thermal stickers for the back of my cards and have to admit, I wasn't very happy with them. So I went through my cutting-die stash, found a tag that thought it could work, and tried to fit the info I wanted in there. I used thick ivory paper for the printing (the printer was not very happy about the thickness, but made it in the end) cut them all manually and here is the new tag! Not as fast as the thermal printing, but more appropriate in my opinion for a handmade card! The plan is to make them for all 3 platforms I use, and when a card sells, stick the correct tag on and off it goes! What do you think?

🦚This is the 1st of a fantasy card collection I've been working on, with a majestic peacock surrounded by candles and flowers. The sentiment tag on the front reads "Wishing You A Bright & Beautiful Birthday". With green mirror card for the border & decorative corners & green mat quality paper for the background. It is decorated with dimensional colour embellishments and finished with a coordinating double insert with the wish "Happy Birthday".
