Black and white checkered floor tiles have featured in interior schemes since ancient Egypt .. Roman villas .. Renaissance Palaces ..Victorian and Deco interiors .. essentially a design classic that was perfect for creating the look we were after for our Rowntrees Chocolate factory and library interiors. It lends a strong graphic feel to entrance halls and reception spaces. We particularly love the terrazzo version. We worked with Parkside tiles to find the perfect product ! .housing

It’s been a labour of love but so pleased to see the Cocoa Works library finally restored offering work from home and social hub for the Cocoa Works York community . Undoubtably our most rewarding interiors project this year and what a joy to work with teams of people equally passionate about this Grade II listed gem !! .housing

So pleased with our new bespoke ‘Hugo Free’ zone door . Hugo less impressed . At least the newly refurbished rooms now have a chance of surviving winter mud ..and our lovely seat cushion from being chewed 😂
