Every day before I start work I take Albie, my 10 yr old dog, to the woods for a good stomp! This morning it was minus 4!!!!! We stomped the 4km a little quicker today! Now to get on with work, sneaky peak of a mock up in the last picture!

Gotta love a new bit of fabric covering the table!!!! So clean! How long until I start writing notes or measurements on it?? Had a bit of a workroom tidy up too. So in theory, I’m raring to go!! But I’m maybe slightly tired from the earlier starts 😆

Happy New Year!!

It’s back to the cabin today to dust off my machine and sewing needles! I have some lovely projects I can’t wait to get started on!

While scrolling Facebook over a coffee, like you do, I saw this little mood board from Romo and I just absolutely love the colours!! So calming and relaxing after such a stressful busy December! What do you think? Are these colours to your taste? We supply Romo fabrics so if you’re interested get in touch.

It all starts with a mood board. Potential interior treasures are put together to create a balanced and joyful scheme that will soon transform your chosen space into a welcoming abode.

Fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings and trinkets, a mood board is an opportunity to play with colours, textures and patterns.

So 2023 comes to an end! It’s been a strange year for me, prolonged recovery, changes on the home front but still lots of gorgeous fabrics being turned into beautiful soft furnishings for your home! I could only choose 10 photos to share my year, but there’s one for nearly every month! A year in the life of I’d like to say thank you to my wonderful suppliers for the fabrics, poles, tracks, linings etc, without your amazing products I could not do amazing things with my skill. I’d like to thank my clients who keep the business going, without you I’d not have a job! And I love coming into your lives for the little glimpse I get when helping to make your houses homes. I must say a huge thank you to my family and friends, I can be a right pain sometimes when things go wrong or I’ve booked too much work in! All in all l, it’s been a successful year and I very much look forward to seeing what 2024 brings with it. Happy New Year everyone! 🍾🥳
