✨ We recently had the pleasure of working with SAHWR (Specialist Domestic Abuse Services), a dedicated organization providing vital support to victims of domestic abuse.

As part of this project, we fitted safety flooring and carpet in their kitchen, toilet and nursery, along with a heavy domestic carpet for their double stairs landings, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment.

💜 October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month so we want to take this opportunity to highlight the incredible work SAHWR does every day.

LVT Bushey

We were asked to supply and fit LVT for this home renovation in Bushey.

It was installed following the fitting of the underfloor heating. The subfloor prep for this requires a different spec to standard installation and was a couple of days work.

The new flooring was laid over the lounge/diner, kitchen, hallway, toilet approx. 54m2. The total job was completed in just 5 days.

Stair runners are a strong trend for stairways at the moment. This traditional look is certainly increasing in popularity as the demand we’re receiving for the service is growing.

Stair runners create a striking looking feature staircase and can be finished with whipping or binding. The edging comes in a choice of colours and can be added to any carpet selected from our extensive range.

The process is more complex than standard carpeting of a staircase. And will usually take at least a couple of visits. To confirm colour and carpet choice, template the stairs, cut the carpet and send it off to have the edging applied before returning to fit it.

We’d say it’s worth the wait.
