Tulips in October?

Oh yes! These beauties came over as bulbs from the southern hemisphere, and because they were born there, they think it's spring. Isn't nature wonderful?

They've been grown hydroponically, here in England, and are looking fabulous. And these lovelies are still on the bulb, which makes them doubly fantastic.

Not only do you get gorgeous tulip blooms, you also get the bulbs to pop in a pot where, with a little help from the peat-free compost from Wildmore Compost, they may bloom again!

When we first stared building Wildmore Compost, we had no idea if anyone would be willing to try yet another peat free compost brand.

But we were sick of seeing peat free failures and gardeners continually trying to grow something and being let down.

So, naturally, we went head first into the soil!

And we are so glad we did! Creating a peat free compost from the ground up is certainly no mean feat, we can assure you of that. But the conversations, experiences, shows, blending, bagging and everything in between has made it so worth the hard work.

It is YOU that has given us the courage to go on. So for those “pinch me” moments, we truly thank you, reading this right now. 💚🌱

There’s only one problem you may encounter when using Wildmore Compost…

Too many crops!

We planted some tomatoes in Wildmore Compost, now we can’t keep up with harvests! Our favourite way to use our excess tomatoes is to make delicious tomato soup.

The high standard of our compost means that plants produce more yield than you’re used to!
