Transforming open-plan spaces can be both exciting and challenging! 🏡✨ In this St Albans home, our clients faced the common struggle of organising a multifunctional area that hosts everything from family dinners to music practice.

We envisioned an inviting atmosphere that met their functional needs while infusing personality into the space.

By adding plush upholstered velvet dining chairs and stylish bar stools, we elevated comfort and aesthetics. The exquisite Andrew Martin rug anchors the dining area beautifully.

To tackle the storage, and add display space, we collaborated with the guys at .interiors.by.lime to design a custom media wall and a chic freestanding drinks cabinet.

Gorgeous wave header curtains softened the space visually and acoustically, blending perfectly with the coastal blues the family loves.

Statement lighting draws the eye upwards, while greenery connects the room to the garden. 🌿

Stay tuned for more transformations, including the cosy sitting area and serene bedroom!

Our clients didn’t need a dining area in this kitchen — so we did something better ✨

We created a welcoming sitting nook instead , softening the space with layered textiles and made-to-measure window dressing

Bespoke curtains and Roman blinds, paired with elegant armchairs and our favourite crane rug, make it a calm spot to linger with a coffee (or do a little meal planning in peace)

🌳 Calm, cosy lakeside bedrooms at this Silverlake, Dorset holiday home.

When you’re hosting multigenerational families or all-adult groups, it’s all about flexible space – but that doesn’t mean cramming in as many ‘heads on beds’ as possible.

You still need:
– Enough seats for everyone to eat together, inside and out
– Comfy spots for the whole gang to curl up in the living room or snug

This three-storey 5-bed holiday home, , has loads of communal space for relaxing, socialising and even a quiet corner to study or work – so guests can spread out rather than feel on top of each other.

And honestly… waking up to that view? No complaints there. 💚

You know what drives me mad?

Seeing Airbnb hosts spend thousands on things guests don’t even notice… and skip the essentials that actually make a difference.

Here are 5 design truths I wish every host knew 👇

1️⃣ Durability beats trends every time.
2️⃣ The goal isn't to maximise 'heads on beds'.
3️⃣ Good lighting = better photos = more bookings.
4️⃣ Beige isn’t safe - it’s forgettable.
5️⃣ Cheap bedding will kill your reviews.

Design *is* marketing.

You don’t need a full refurb to get results - you just need a smart, strategic eye.

Transforming a space can feel like an adventure, and we’re here to celebrate the journey of bringing colour and life into your home! 🌿✨ With a little vision and creativity, those plain white walls can turn into a breathtaking statement. Our latest project showcases a stunning mural 'Hakari' from Bobbi Beck that has completely elevated the room's impact.

Starting with a warm, rich green paint (Coat 'Mansard'), we created a cosy backdrop that perfectly complements the mural.

A heartfelt shoutout to our talented decorator Toby, who took on the challenge of installing this mural with precision and care. 🖌️👏

Every detail matters in interior design, and the right feature wall can completely redefine a room! Whether you’re looking to add a splash of color or create an entire theme, remember that your home should reflect who you are. Don’t be afraid to take that leap into color and creativity!

Ready to start your own transformation? Let’s bring your vision to life! 💭🏡

This time last year our living room was a big white box – lots of period features, but lacking warmth and personality.

Fast-forward and it's now rocking herringbone wood flooring, lush green walls (Mansard by COAT – obsessed), and a new marble fireplace that finally gives the room some character 🖤

Next up on the hit list:
• Ditching the spider light (I'm hunting for an antique chandelier)
• New curtains and blinds
• Furniture that actually belongs in the space

Can’t wait to share the next update – it’s finally starting to feel like home. Stay tuned 👀✨

Our clients feel like they've gained a whole new room! The conservatory was always there, but it's evolved from an occasional TV room to a fun, lemur-wallpapered space that’s perfect to sit with a morning coffee an a sundowner.

Our latest residential project, a ground floor renovation near Camberley in Surrey. We'd worked with this lovely couple before, for their second home and it was a treat to be invited to work with them again to transform their main home.

The homeowners wanted to update their home with a built-in shelving and media wall, concealed lighting, new flooring, window treatments and redecoration throughout.

We used in two contrasting designs along the feature wall, this is going to create such a cosy feel as the light plays across it in the darker months.

Curtains and blinds by in applique fabric, for a mid-century look with depth.

What you won't tell from the photos is that this is an older sofa, which now been re-upholstered twice, saving a lot of waste from landfill.

Stay tuned for the dining room, hallway and conservatory photos to follow..

Think wallpaper in bathrooms is a no-no? ❌ You might be surprised..

Installed properly, in a well-ventilated bathroom, you can definitely use a wallpaper such as the fabulous one we used in this London project.

This wallpaper was in a low-splash area, sealed and protected in the sink area with a clear backsplash.

Teamed with green glass tiles for depth and drama and brass fittings from another great British company - this is an ensuite with wow factor.
