Capital of Craft this way ➡️

It’s in Bovey Tracey this weekend and we love seeing the town come alive with makers, crafters & lovers of handmade. 😍

Our lovely shop will be open Friday & Saturday 10am-4pm for shopping so do pop and see us if you are visiting. 🛍️ We stock lots of beautiful, locally made craft kits, gifts & treasures.

There is a creativity trail on in the town and you can find some fabulous artwork from in our window amongst some beautiful work made in our Art & Stitch clubs from our students. 🎨🖌️🧵 We have maps in store for you to come and collect your creativity trail sheet. 😃

Behind the scenes in our Kids Clubs! 😍🫟🧵

Did you know we run after school & monthly creative clubs for children?

From September we are increasing our club offering even more and opening up sessions for Teens age 12+ after many requests from our lovely Poms! 😃

It’s Small Business Week and we are spending every day letting you know some more about our small business. 😃

So let’s start with WHY? Why did we start Pom Stitch Tassel 🧐

🩵 For my younger self who was obsessed with craft and sewing and would have loved a space like this, somewhere she could and can be her full self.

🩵 To inspire the next generation of creatives and show them they can pursue their dream and can 100% pursue a career in the arts industry.

🩵 To spread a little joy and remind people of the importance of taking time for yourself and your mental health. In a world that is constantly changing, exhausting and sometimes a little scary, we need somewhere where we feel safe, can unwind and have fun!

It’s Small Business Week this week so we wanted to kickstart the week off by introducing ourselves 😃

Hi, I’m Emma 👋🏻 founder of Pom Stitch Tassel - South Devon’s creative hub 👩🏼‍🎨🧶🧵

We are based on Bovey Tracey high street in Devon and you can come and visit our shop Wednesday - Saturday 10am-4pm in term time and Tuesday - Saturday 10am-4pm in the school holidays. 😃

Our creative shop stocks locally made and sourced craft kits, gifts, cards & children’s products.

We also have two workshop rooms in our shop where we run craft workshops for children, families & adults, kids clubs after school, in the weekends and holidays, birthday parties, sewing lessons and much much more!
