I’ve received the most fabulous fundraising pack from Abbie's Army to help raise much-needed funds for DIPG research.

From now until 21st July, 10% of all sales from my shop and the school fairs I’m attending will be donated to this incredible cause in memory of Ellerie Carroll.

There are even more ways to support this weekend! This Saturday at the Street Party, I’ll have:
🎨 Drop-in crafts outside
☕ Craft Café inside

with proceeds helping to raise additional funds for DIPG research.

This cause means a great deal to me, and I would love to do everything I can to make a difference. Every purchase, visit, share, and donation will help support vital research and families affected by this devastating disease.

Morning crafters, I am afraid there will be no Coffee & Card on You Tube this morning.

It was going to be a bonus week but I have just been up to my craft room for half an hour and it is unbearably hot in there already, on top of recovering from a painful gum infection, it's just too much.

My craft room is upstairs and not a big room and is like an oven!

I will be back next week, hope you understand.

In the meantime I will leave you with a simple Father's Day card I made for Craig from our doggy Beulah using the Serene Scenes kit.

What a brilliant day yesterday!

Despite arriving at work with a suspected gum abscess (ouch!), discovering a leak in the ceiling, and finding part of the bathroom floor slightly flooded, it turned out to be an absolute dream of a day.

There’s something special about 16 cross stitchers coming together to stitch, chat, shop (thank you for your purchases!), and encourage one another.

The cross stitch community really is a wonderful place to be.

This workshop was fully booked, and July now has only two seats remaining. Swipe through to see all the 2026 dates - people are already booking the December session!

I'm absolutely thrilled to say that one of my summer holiday sessions on 19th August is now down to its last 3 seats and we're still 2 months away! Thank you so much to everyone who has booked already. 💛

I've been reviewing the summer holiday programme and have made a couple of changes, but I'm excited to announce that I've also added two brand new sessions to the schedule...

🚀 You've Got a Friend in Me
A Toy Story inspired drop off craft workshop packed with creative fun for little Buzz and Woody fans.

💙 Bluey & Me
A special craft session for ages 4 to 8 where their favourite grown up can stay and join in the fun too. Expect Bluey inspired crafts, creativity and quality time together.

Both sessions are now on my website for booking.

💛 Craft for Ellerie 💛

At this year's Idle Street Party, I'll be fundraising for Abbie's Army helping to raise much needed funds for research into DIPG in memory of the wonderful Ellerie Daisy Carroll.

Ellerie sadly passed away on 23rd May after a 21 month fight against this devastating brain cancer. She was a little girl who touched so many lives and I wanted to do something positive in her memory.

I'll be running three Craft Cafe sessions, which are available to book now:

🎨 12pm to 1pm
🎨 1.30pm to 2.30pm
🎨 3pm to 4pm

Your table is reserved for the hour and it will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy some creative time and a break from the hopefully sunny weather outside.

I'll also have drop in crafts available throughout the day outside the studio. For every painting kit purchased, £1 will be donated directly to Abbie's Army, and if you would like to donate a little extra, that would be very gratefully received. 10% of all my shop sales will also be donated too.

If you're able to, I'd love you to book onto one of the Craft Cafe sessions. My goal is to fill every table and raise as much money as possible in honour of my little friend Ellerie.

Happy to say I’ve successfully completed my 2-day Paediatric First Aid course! 🎉

A huge thank you to Chris at CLX First Aid for another fantastic course, this is the second one I’ve completed with him, and once again it was informative, engaging, and well delivered.

While I hope I never have to put these skills into practice, I’m glad to have everything sorted ahead of the big school holidays, which was my main priority.

It’s reassuring to know I’m prepared should the need ever arise.

💜 Craft for Ellerie 💜

Some people leave footprints on your heart that can never be erased. Ellerie Daisy Carroll was one of those people.

Diagnosed with DIPG in September 2024, Ellerie sadly passed away on 23rd May 2026. She was a remarkable little girl, full of charm, sass and joy, who touched the hearts of an entire community and inspired so many to always "find the glimmers" in life.

The heartbreaking reality is that DIPG remains one of the most devastating childhood cancers, with no cure and very few treatment options. Research is desperately needed, and I wanted to find a way to help.

From 21st June, Ellerie's birthday, until 21st July, I will be donating £1 from every Craft Café item purchased and 10% of all shop takings to Abbie's Army, the wonderful charity that supported Ellerie and her family throughout the last 20 months.

Ellerie adored crafting. She loved to dance, sing, play with her dolls and get creative, so it feels only fitting to honour her through something she loved so much.

At the Idle Street Party on Saturday 27th June, I'll be offering special drop in crafts alongside Craft Café, including the opportunity to paint a Stitch figure in Ellerie's honour, one of her absolute favourites. There will also be other items available to paint and extra collection points if you'd like to make an additional donation.

I would love for our amazing community to come together to celebrate Ellerie's beautiful spirit, support her incredible family and help fund vital research that could make a difference for other children and families in the future.

Let's create, remember and give back together. 💜⚡️
