The Paper Haven and Co Creative escape for adults & hands-on fun for children at my craft studio and shop in the heart of Idle village. Demonstrator in the UK.

Classes and workshops for children and adults, private parties and group bookings. Enhanced DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding training. My name is Julie Sutcliffe and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! This means that I demonstrate and sell high quality crafting products and share these through my workshops, classes and events. I have been running crafting events in West Yorkshire for 17 plus years and I thrive on planning and delivering quality, informative and relaxed events. I don't take myself too seriously so I provide a lot of fun in classes as well as ensuring my clients leave with completed projects they are happy with.

🥹🎨 SHE LIVED HER BEST LITTLE LIFE TODAY! 💗

This gorgeous 4-year-old came to Craft Cafe today with her big brother, and apparently she’d been asking ALL DAY if it was time to come! 🥰

Once she arrived? Well, she was in her element! 🎨

🖌️ Created some amazing paintings
🍫 Ate a HUGE brownie (obviously!)
🎨 Got paint on her face
💗 And had the BEST time!

Honestly, this is what Craft Cafe is all about. Little ones having the freedom to get creative, make a mess, enjoy a treat and just be kids! 🥹💕

Every single one of these creations has been made by a real person, with their own two hands, a little imagination and a whole lot of love.

Some are beginners. Some have been crafting for years. But every single one started with an idea and the willingness to give it a go. 🥰

And THIS is why I love what I do at The Paper Haven & Co. It’s not about perfection. It’s about creativity, having a go, learning something new and making something you can be proud of.

🛍️ Shop opening hours – take a look at when you can pop in for a browse and pick up some crafty goodies!

☕ Craft Cafe – I’ve still got some spaces available, with lots of lovely things to make, whether you fancy something spooky or prefer a non-Halloween craft!

🧶 Knitting Class – Saturday – there are still places available if you fancy learning a new skill, meeting lovely people and having a go at something different!

Whether you’re popping in to shop, joining me for a crafty afternoon or trying something new, I’d love to see you in my little pink shop! 🩷

🎨☕ CRAFT CAFÉ IS BACK THIS THURSDAY! 👻🍂

I've had a few questions about Craft Café, so I thought it was time for a little reminder! ❤️

We're back from Thursday, and I can't wait to get creative with the children again!
We'll have a mixture of spooky and non-spooky crafts to choose from, so whether your little ones are feeling Halloween-inspired or just fancy making something lovely, there'll be plenty of crafty fun to be had! 🎃✂️🖌️

Craft Café is the perfect opportunity to pop in, get creative and enjoy some relaxed crafting together.

📌 PLEASE NOTE: Adults must book a seat too as this is not a drop off event. FREE tea or coffee for grown ups. Drinks and sweet treats available for purchasing.

It's definitely feeling like proper autumn, and I can't think of anything better than escaping the cold and rain and getting crafty! 🍁❤️

🧙‍♂️ ONE WEEK TO GO! 🧙‍♂️

My Half Term Drop-Off Sessions start one week today, and I still have places available on ALL sessions! 🎨✂️

A little reminder that if your children want to join us for Harry Potter, bookings will need to close by Sunday 24th October so I can make sure I have all the supplies ready for everyone. 🪄⚡

🍰 Kids off this week already? Don't panic!

I've got Craft Café on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd October, so you can bring them along for some creative fun if they are off an extra week!

Whether they're making, painting, sticking or creating something wonderful, there's always something happening at The Paper Haven & Co. ❤️

🧵❤️ What a weekend! Our Cross Stitch Weekend was just fabulous! ❤️🧵

Two whole days of stitching, chatting, laughter, good food and wonderful company. Honestly, we had the BEST time! 🥰

There is something so special about bringing a group of lovely ladies together, giving them time to relax, enjoy their stitching and make memories along the way. And this weekend was everything I hoped it would be and more! 🪡🧵

But one of my favourite things about hosting these weekends is that we get to support other lovely local businesses along the way, too. ❤️

🫖 On Saturday, we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with Miss Butterfingers 🍰

🍽️ And on Sunday, we rounded off our weekend with a lovely Sunday lunch at The Symposium.

It's so important to me that when we bring people into our village for our events, we spread a little love around and support the other independent businesses that make our community so special. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to the wonderful local businesses who looked after us, and to my lovely stitchers for making the weekend so enjoyable.

My heart is full, my stitching has progressed (a little!), and I'm already looking forward to the next one! 🧵🥰
