Here at Blake House Craft Centre, we’re home to a wonderful collection of independent shops, each with its own personality and something a little different to discover.

Blake House Food Hall, home of The Sticky Pickle Company, is packed with award-winning pickles and chutneys made right here on site, alongside a gorgeous selection of fine foods, local produce and artisan favourites.

And if you love cheese, this one is definitely worth a visit… the artisan cheese selection is something special. 🤍

Plus, fresh sourdough is available on Fridays and Saturdays, with pre-orders available too.

🌾 SATURDAY AT BLAKE HOUSE 🌾

There’s plenty happening at Blake House Craft Centre this Saturday 26th September!

From 9am, head over to our Events Paddock where you can browse the Vintage Fair and see what hidden treasures you can uncover. 👀✨

Then from 10am, our monthly Farmers Market gets underway, with a lovely selection of local producers, delicious treats and quality goods to peruse.

And of course, our independent shops will be opening their doors from 10am too, so you can make a proper morning of it: vintage finds, local produce and a wander around our little rural shopping village. 🛍️

Step inside for a gorgeous mix of vintage homewares, classic Chesterfield sofas, farmhouse inspired interiors and characterful pieces designed to make a home feel that little bit more special.

If you love timeless interiors, rustic details and finding something you won’t see everywhere else, make sure At My Place is on your list next time you visit.

📣 STALLHOLDERS WANTED

We’re looking for high-quality producers, makers and independent traders to join us at Blake House Craft Centre for our upcoming markets and events.

From our monthly Farmers’ Markets and makers’ markets to seasonal events, Christmas markets and our Canine Country Fayre 2027, we’re keen to showcase brilliant products, talented people and fantastic independent businesses from across Essex and the surrounding areas.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from professional, reliable stallholders who would like to attend regularly and become part of our growing market community.

Applicants must have:

• Their own professional stall setup
• Valid public liability insurance
• High-quality products and an attractive display
• Availability to attend regularly where possible
