Little update for you all! Our wonderful staff member Dani got married yesterday! We know Dani had helped many of you over the years with choosing fabrics for weddings, and has also altered many wedding and bridesmaid dresses for people but, yesterday, she FINALLY got to have her day!! (Her new husband Paul was there too 🤣). Fellow staff member Chloe and myself were honoured to be bridesmaids for our beautiful Dani and thought you’d all like to see how gorgeous she looked. 🩵

We can hardly believe it’s been almost 7 months since we closed and we’d love to see what YOU have all been up to! X

Today and tomorrow I’ll be selling some reduced quilting fabrics/haberdashery at a wonderful quilt exhibition hosted by Ash Valley Quilters in Sawbridgeworth.

It was our absolute pleasure to donate a van filled with of fabrics, ribbons, swatch books, Roman blind kits etc to Thurrock Play Network - The Pyramid Resource Centre. Such a fantastic cause and we look forward to see what creations they come up with ❤️

Yesterday one of our lovely antique haberdashery counters went off to start a new life ❤️.

We are on the final few days now and can no longer open for browsing. If you have made arrangements with me to collect items on certain days then that is still ok.

It’s been wonderful to have people back in the shop again this week and I’ve truly appreciated all the hugs, laughter, kind words and gifts. ❤️

Stay tuned for a final video from me when the shop is completely empty 🥹

For anyone yet to collect, please remember we are open tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday between 10am and 1pm for collections.

If anyone wants to look at our remaining stock, that is available for purchase, you’re welcome to come along between those times too.

Just a reminder that we can only take cash (quickest) or we can provide bank transfer or PayPal details if you prefer.

There will also be some extra bits available such as reels of ribbons, lampshade kits and zips etc.

If you have reserved some fabrics to buy from our recently posted albums, please double check the info below:-

Collections must take place on either Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th or Monday 17th March between the hours of 10am and 1pm only.

Payment must be either in cash (quickest!) or we can provide bank transfer or PayPal details if preferred.

If you have changed your mind about any fabrics please do let me know as soon as possible.

The shop is not open for general browsing due to health and safety etc, so please give your name on arrival and we will get your order for you. You are welcome to look at any fabrics that remain for sale at the time.

One last thing, please be patient. I have no idea if you’ll all turn up at the same time or not 🤣

Hello strangers!!

We are down to our last two weeks before we hand the keys back to the shop, so that it can start its new adventure (whatever that may be!).

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be doing a social media post this week of the last bits for sale (VERY cheap rolls of fabric etc) which you can purchase and then collect on selected days this coming weekend. The shop is NOT open for people to just turn up but you will be able to comment on the items you wish to buy and then arrange collection.
