⭐️ CREATING A LITTLE PRINCESS A SANCTUARY

This summer holiday, Maddie and Me, put our time to good use, redecorating her bedroom to create a more mature, yet fitting sanctuary for her to relax in, study in, socialise in and have the most wonderful dreams in!

And so her ideal bedroom became a reality, complete with a flower wall upon which to store her Skate boards and Roller blades (well who said that Princesses couldn’t be tough too!!)

The perfect haven for a perfect young women & warrior Princess!

🌷🍀💐 ANOTHER PROJECT FINISHED! ☘️🌼🌷

It’s always so sad when an old piece of furniture is no longer fit for purpose, so when this old chest of drawers from Maddies bedroom finall gave up, we refurbed it and turned it in to this beautiful garden display.

Bringing bumble bees 🐝 and butterfly’s 🦋 in abundance, brightening our garden and bringing life back to this old piece of furniture.

💐 HAND MADE SOAPS 💐

Hand made natural and organic goats milk soap, made with organic essential oils and freshly dried fruits and flowers!

So good for the skin and Maddie and Me will be selling these soon!! And we had so much fun making these!

🤍 SOMETHING FROM NOTHING 🤍

Today we created this lovely little herb garden from an old pallet.

So much fun to make with the kids and they really enjoyed recycling something that no longer served its purpose!

Now all we need is to finish it off with some herbs!!

🍥 LUCKY FINDS... NEW TREASURES 🍥

So happy to have saved these little beauties from going to the tip.

A gentleman approached us after seeing our work, and offered us these lovely tea crates, complete with an old newspaper lining from 1972!

Of course we accepted and gave these lovely boxes a new home, and here’s where we want your help.

We want your ideas on what they should spend the rest of their lives as so they are loved and shown on if all their glory!

We have a few ideas, but thought you may want to get involved and we will give regular updates on their progress.

🍥 MADE WITH LOVE 🍥

I inherited this small chest of drawers from my lovely sister many years ago. It remained hidden in a spare room until recently, when I finally found the inspiration to bless it with a whole new lease of life.

Hand painted with eco friendly Matt paints, to give an aged finish to the main body and we hand-painted several of the handles, as we couldn’t find anything we felt suited this lovely piece.

Finally, to tie the drawers in with our new bedroom colour scheme, I used the last few pieces of wallpaper on two of the drawer fronts for a decoupage finish.

Maddie took great care painting the drawers, and decided to use black board paint for the black drawers, so Mitch and I can leave little love notes for each other! Such a lovely touch!
