Little squirrel complete. I used satin matte SM 10 clear as a final coat instead of using my usual glossy glaze. Looks like I brushed it on a bit too thick on his back, but I still love the overall effect.

This little fellow is out of the kiln, had his glaze put on and is now sitting patiently waiting to hop back in the kiln for his final firing.

First batch of Christmas houses etc are nice and dry and all ready for their bisque firing

Today was so much fun learning how to make this hare. The workshop was run by Loll With her wonderful guidance and easy technique, we were talked through each stage step by step to achieve a piece to be proud of. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners to more advanced ceramicists.

Recently I was asked if I could make a mug with a toad on it. I replied "I'll give it a go". This was so much fun to do, but totally nerve wracking each time it went in the kiln!! Happily Mr Toad behaved impeccably throughout and went off to his new home where he had a very welcome reception from his new owner.
