🫶🏼•TWIA REGIONAL FINALIST•🫶🏼
…….we were completely blown away when we received an email congratulating us on Wednesday - We still can’t quite believe it, a 2027 Regional Finalist, in The Wedding Industry Awards for East Midlands!

It’s always a huge privilege when our couples come to us to flower their most special day, because they love our floral style, and trust us completely with their vision. We always feel so proud when we see our brides faces, hear the compliments from their families and friends and then receive such heart warming feedback after their wedding.

But to know that we’ve created such an impact with our florals, that they’ve later gone to the effort to nominate us, then vote for us, is just wonderful and we’re so grateful.

To not only be nominated which is fabulous in itself, but for judges to then read our couples feedback (which we are yet to see) and get through to being a finalist for our region is just amazing and we’re feeling so very proud. So thank you again to our fabulous couples for the recognition, it really does mean so much to us.

We’re off to the award ceremony being held in November, to meet all the other fantastic regional finalists in TWIA, to have a fabulous evening and to cheer everyone on ❤️

•THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS•
….we had a surprise email a few weeks ago to say we’d been nominated by our fabulous couples and we had to quickly look into what that meant for us ☺️

Voting can only be from our couples whose weddings we’d flowered between 01.10.25 and 28.09.26 and only one vote each.

The voting closes at 5pm on 28th September after then the judges set to work viewing all entries, reading profiles & viewing submitted floral images.

Finalists are announced in October with an award ceremony in November.

We know there are so many incredible florists out there, all with their own styles, many of whom we admire, so we’re certain the judges will have a difficult job deciding finalists….but we’d just like to thank our incredible couples, past, present and future for putting their trust in us to bring their floral vision to life, we are passionate and LOVE what we do. It’s always an absolute pleasure to be a small part of your incredibly special day, no matter how grand or intimate.

So thank you, thank you for nominating us and subsequently voting, it’s wonderful to be recognised ❤️

💚•PRESTWOLD HALL•💚
……for our lovely couple Sam & Scott, who wed a year ago today at the this stunning Grade I stately home in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds.
The grounds are incredibly beautiful (it even has its own church) and the interior is just sublime. What a venue….and I’m back here in two weeks time!

Sam requested creamy whites with a touch of oyster to tie in with their bridesmaid dresses, which by incorporating a beautiful spray rose called White Majolica, we were able to do, as they’re an off white colour and show as creamy-blush which gives a touch of the oystery colour Sam was hoping for.

Happy first wedding anniversary to Sam & Scott 🫶🏼

🌸•BRIDAL BOUQUET•🌸
……for our beautiful bride, Madeleine.
When we presented these gorgeous bouquets and wrist corsages to Madeleine on the morning of her wedding, not only did happy tears come streaming down her face, she also declared that they made her heart sing! 🥰

I have to say, they made our hearts sing too, what an absolute stunning colour palette.

We always love personally presenting our brides with their beautiful bouquets on the morning of their wedding, it’s such a special moment for us all 🫶🏼

We get to see your face when you first see your bouquet, we get to tell you all about the beautiful flowers and foliages we’ve used to create it. We show you how to hold it & we get to give you a hug and wish you all the best for your incredibly special day.

It really is one of our favourite things to do, It’s an absolute honour that our couples put their trust in us to create their dream florals, so thank you to each and every single one of our wonderful couple’s 🌸

🌿•FLOWER CLOUD•🌿
……two weeks today, we had to quickly change plans! Our lovely couple had originally opted for an outdoor ceremony with a beautiful wall installation to say ‘I do’ in front of, however, the weather had other ideas and with horrendous downpours and rumbles of thunder from early Thursday morning throughout the day, there’s no way our couple could have had their ceremony outside. So we went with plan B, a gorgeous flower cloud suspended in the window, along with two flowers meadows as a gorgeous backdrop for our couple to stand in front of when they said their all important vows.

The Coach House ceremony room also gets turned around and doubles up as their wedding breakfast room, which also meant our couple would get to sit beneath their beautiful floral cloud for their meal and the flower meadows could be moved around for photo opportunities throughout the day and into the evening.

Our couple, along with their friends and family were absolutely delighted with how beautiful the room was, and it smelt incredible.

It’s always super important to choose suppliers that have several plans should something not go as you had hoped (ie the weather) and that everyone is happy with all options. The fabulous The Coach House Derby {Boutique Guest House} were incredibly accommodating as always and nothing is ever too much trouble for them 🙌🏼

……Sorry 😅 but in 16 weeks and 2 days it will be Christmas Day, which means it’s time to start planning out wreath workshops.

So 12 weeks on Sunday will be the first Christmas wreath workshop this year, on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th November The Coach House Derby {Boutique Guest House}

🌿What’s included;
All the wonderful seasonal ingredients to make a beautiful moss based wreath, including lush green foliages, fresh and dried flowers & a choice of ribbons.
A glass of mulled w**e or mulled punch on arrival and a delightful festive afternoon tea including sweet and savoury homemade treats

📅 Dates;
Sunday 29th November 12:00hrs-15:00hrs
Monday 30th November 18:00hrs-21:00hrs

🌿•FLOWER CROWN•🌿
……the sweetest of crowns, for the sweetest of Brides, Rebecca 🫶🏼. She honestly looked so incredible 💛

My style isn’t sleek, modern or minimal and this is as dainty as I can manage, as you will know by now, I’m a very ‘more is more’ kinda person 😂. More flowers, more foliage, more textures….just more! 💛
