Heather Dickens Willow Baskets I make baskets from soaked and freshly cut willow of any description. The willow naturally grows in I make to order any style of basket required.

Basketry is a dying art that used to be taught to family members, it was a community craft that got people together, which in turn supported the community. We need to keep this historic craft alive. Styles of basketry have been passed down through generations. Each country have their traditional designs and uses. We should all start using baskets again, they last a lifetime if you look after them and are very sturdy and versatile.
