A long overdue update....
This is a little post I have been putting off writing…
I have been inundated with messages asking about my Christmas wreath workshops this year, and honestly, I am so incredibly grateful. But it has also made this decision even harder.
After a lot of thought (and many, many conversations with myself!), I have decided to take a pause from my Christmas wreath workshops this year.
For the past 7 years, these workshops have been about so much more than making wreaths. I have made the most wonderful friendships, met so many lovely people and have been lucky enough to become part of so many of your Christmas traditions. That means more to me than I can ever put into words.
So please know this decision has not been an easy one, and it is why it has taken me so long to share it with you.
Life is changing a little for us at the moment with my husband's job taking us elsewhere. So taking some time to figure out what the next chapter looks like for us.
I’m still very much working with flowers and making wreaths, and I’ll be spending some time at the flower shop in Glasgow over the winter. I’m also continuing to keep my little business going — just in a slightly different way for now.
I feel like I need a little time to pause, breathe, be creative and rethink what I want the next chapter to look like, both for me and for my business.
So, no Christmas wreath workshops this year… and saying that makes me incredibly sad.
But this isn't goodbye. It’s simply a pause. ✨
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who has supported me, attended a workshop, brought friends, returned year after year, or simply followed along. You have made the last 7 years so incredibly special. From Friday flowers, to workshops, weddings , art classes, creative collaborations, subscription bouquets ....
For now, I’m going to trust the process, embrace this next little chapter and see where it takes me.
Thank you for understanding and, as always, for being here.
Love,
Katie x
