🎅Quickish card today using Cookie Claus from Dr.Digi's House of Stamps, who is sponsoring "Christmas in July" over at the Rudolph Days Challenge Blog!🎅

The Rudolph Days Challenge Blog opens a new Anything Goes Christmas Challenge on the 25th of every month. This month's challenge runs from 9am (UK time) on 25 July until midnight on 31 July, so there's still plenty of time to join in.

I also used a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment Sheet 02 and the Jammy Dodger Paper from the Tea & Bickies Background Paper Set.

🎄 The Christmas in July Sale Event at Sweet November Stamps is still on, and I had such a lovely time making this festive Meemaw card using the Time for Turkey digi stamp!

This image was originally a freebie in the newsletter, so you might already have it, but if not, you're in luck because it's now available & on sale in the shop too!

This card is a bit of a Sweet November combo special. I used the snoozing kitty from the SN Gals Libby & Laura set, some of the room décor from the Simple Room Reading Nook Add On, and the Christmas tree from the North Pole Friends Background Builder set. I do love mixing and matching all these sets!

For a change I also went a bit more pastel than usual... and I have to admit, no Christmas tree in my house has ever looked quite this tasteful! 😂

Happy to share a bit of festive joy and alert you to the Christmas in July Sale Event at Sweet November Stamps! You might spot that, in this case, feather and fur colouring are very similar! I just wanted to make him look extra fluffy. 😊

Also, I would probably buy coffee from a shop purely because it had a penguin logo... marketers' dream! 😉

It's a Frankenstamp inspo ( Thanks for the ongoing Franken-inspo) for Dr.Digi's Mermay Challenge! This is Goldie and Lagerfest Lottie and together they make.... a Maidmer? :D Lottie seems to have the nicest legs in the Dr.Digi's shop! (Not pictured sorry ;) )

Not long to go now to enter the Mermay Challenge, you can add a Mermay twist to any Dr.Digi stamp (apart from the actual Mermaid) and then either add your project to the Mermay Crafter's Album on Facebook or tag your project on Instagram :) Prizes to be won!

And the winner was "C" but only by one vote! Thanks for helping me decide on a sentiment for Deirdery Dunderfin (created from the Dr.Digi stamp Deirdery Dunderton). I defo have a couple of friends who are very good at resting mermaid face so it will be useful ;)

Still time to join me in the Mermayhem, it would be really fun to see what my other crafty and creative friends do with a stamp to Mer-twist it!

Quick Kitty post, before you all thought I had lost my passion for colouring all the furry things ;) This is "Cat with Yarn" from Sproatmeyer Stamps and is a testament to using a white resist layer under your pencil colouring on coloured card! All this detail went in with the white polychromo pencil on the very first layer, it's not wax resist, but it works very much like it. Try doing a pattern in white and then gently colour on top of it! Would recommend for the easy life :)

Another Dr.Digi Mermay makeover, this time its "I dream of Genie" that's had a fishy upgrade! This is mainly over colouring after printing the image out with pale lines, then adding bits, like tiny oranda goldfish 😃
Challenge is running until 31st May, any questions please ask, and why not have a go ? Look through the DT inspo and enjoy a good chuckle with us! 🙂

I finished colouring Deirdery Dunderfin for yesterday’s halfway Mermay post, but now I can’t decide on the sentiment…

Which one gets your vote? 😆

(Also… there’s still plenty of time to jump into if you fancy a bit of crafty Mermay chaos 🧜‍♀️)

No masterpieces required — and between us, the Dr Digi lot probably rate a good pun almost as highly as good colouring, so insider knowledge says just-punny absolutely counts 😉
