Again, finished firing for ‘algae’Slapped the glaze on thick, lots of iron filings (?) and a 30 minute soak instead of 2...

Slapped the glaze on thick, lots of iron filings (?) and a 30 minute soak instead of 20 minutes.

Again very pleased with the results.

So;
Kiln firing for fantasy glazes ‘puristic’…
Fist piccy in the kiln ready to be glazed. Slapped the glaze on pretty thick, and made sure there were plenty of iron filings(?) mixed in…..
In at 1080 degrees, and I upped the soak from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
( I must be feeling flush with the electric lol)

Very pleased with the results!

Just to follow on from the last post;
The heart is ‘mauvience’ ( one I made a while ago) the flowers are ‘puristic’.
Very similar in colours, and again slightly different to the chrysanthos examples.
