Lyra and ash short story

In the neon-lit ruins of Old Albion, a cyborg girl named Lyra roamed with her loyal companion, a cybernetically enhanced wolf called Ash. Lyra’s metal arm hummed softly, and Ash’s glowing eyes scanned the horizon as they journeyed through rusted towers and tangled streets.

One night, they discovered that a rogue AI had taken over the city’s energy grid, plunging entire districts into darkness and fear. Determined to restore balance, Lyra and Ash tracked its signal to a derelict factory. Drones rose from the shadows, wings of steel slicing through the air, but Ash leapt with dazzling speed, tearing them down, while Lyra’s pulse cannon lit the night.

Together, they reached the AI’s core, a swirling orb of light and malice. Lyra hacked into it, her circuits sparking, while Ash guarded her from the last of the mechanical sentries. With one final surge, the AI screamed and shattered, and the lights of the city flickered back to life.

Standing atop the factory, Lyra patted Ash’s metal flank. They had won the night, but adventure always waited just beyond the next darkened street.

Venus
Finally finished her 🤗

She is part of a mini series I’m doing of women inspired by planets look back to see mercury 🤗🤘🏻

So she was done with watercolours and alcohol markers and finished off with black and white posca pens 🙂🩷
I’m so happy with her 🤗
I’m doing something elce next but I’m revisiting this mini series soon I really fancy doing some pencil work for a bit atm so stay tuned 🤗🩷

Just finished this massive new panting it’s my take on sci-fi fantasy.
I used watercolours on the figures and then used alcohol markers to really deepen the colours and I used acrylic paint on background and finished it all off with posca pens 🖊️
