Today we took our van out on the Mary Stevens Hospice parade, transformed into Andy’s bedroom from Toy Story, with Buzz and Jessie joining us to bring a bit of magic to the route.

A huge thank you to Sealy UK & Ireland, who donated hundreds of bags of sweets, and to Silentnight, who gifted a massive box of hippos and ducks small gestures that created big smiles and helped us spread joy to every spectator along the way. Their support shows how local businesses can play a meaningful role in strengthening community spirit.

The turnout was incredible, the energy was brilliant, and together we helped raise vital funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice, an organisation that continues to provide compassionate, life‑changing support to families across our area.

We’re delighted to share that Dreamland Bedding Centre has been shortlisted for the National Bed Federation’s 2026/27 Small NBF Retail Champion of the Year Award.

This one feels particularly special because it reflects so much of what we try to achieve every day, not just the beds we sell, but the service we provide, our amazing team, our commitment to the bed industry and the role we play within our local community.
As an independent retailer, being recognised by the National Bed Federation is a huge honour, particularly when you consider the number of fantastic independent retailers across the country.

But most importantly, thank you to our customers.
The support you continue to give us means more than we can put into words. Every purchase, recommendation, review, kind message and returning customer has helped make Dreamland what it is today. Without the support of our customers, we simply wouldn’t be the business we are.

We were delighted to give one of our customers a special spa break at Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations.

And it looks like they had a fantastic time! From the spa treatments and afternoon tea to the prosecco and beautiful surroundings, it sounds like they were truly spoilt.

A huge thank you to our lovely customer for sharing these photos with us. It’s brilliant to see the prize being enjoyed!

A bit of a different post from us today!

We've noticed what appears to be a racing pigeon on our roof. It first appeared yesterday and is still there today.

We're not sure if anyone locally is missing it, but we thought we'd post here in the hope of helping it find its way back to its owner.

If you think it might be yours, or you know who it belongs to, please send us a message or tag them in the comments.

Hopefully we can help reunite this little visitor with its owner

Mill Street is looking fantastic!

A huge thank you to Brierley Hill In Bloom for everything they do to make our town look so welcoming. The difference around Brierley Hill really is noticeable, and it's wonderful to see so much colour brightening our streets.

Here at Dreamland, we've added our own hanging baskets, and our neighbours next door have done the same. It's amazing how much flowers can transform an area and create a more welcoming environment for everyone.

When Brierley Hill in Bloom asked if we could help by looking after the three three-tiered planters on Mill Street, our team didn't hesitate. They were more than happy to volunteer to keep them watered and looking their best throughout the season.

Who would have thought a team of bed salespeople would turn out to be so green-fingered?

We're proud to play a small part in helping make Brierley Hill a place we can all be proud of. If you're passing through Mill Street, take a moment to enjoy the flowers, they're looking brilliant

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, we've been running two special competitions to thank our amazing customers for their continued support.

Everyone who made an in-store purchase from 1st June was automatically entered into our prize draw to win a spa break, and our Facebook competition gave one lucky winner the chance to win a luxurious Sealy UK & Ireland bed.

To make the draw even more special, Mike and Carol, who have both been part of Dreamland since we first opened our doors 50 years ago, had the honour of drawing the winning entries. We couldn't think of anyone more fitting to mark such a special milestone.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who entered, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who has supported our family business over the past 50 years. We simply wouldn't be celebrating this milestone without your loyalty, trust and continued custom.
