No sewing being done this week. My front room has pretty much been relocated to the sewing room in preparation for being decorated, which means I can't get anywhere near my sewing machine. Just the sofas and table left in the lounge. So by the end of this week the walls will have magically changed from Natural Hessian to Malt Chocolate. 🪄🧙🖌️🧑‍🎨

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your retail skills with a real purpose. You’ll help support the day-to-day running of our shop, lead and motivate volunteers, deliver great customer service and help raise vital funds for dogs in need. 🐶

We’re looking for someone who is kind, compassionate, honest and passionate about making a difference. Retail or supervisory experience would be an advantage, but a great attitude and a willingness to get stuck in are just as important.

So I know last week I said I was going to make up the remaining 12 Bobbie bags I'd cut out earlier this year but I got distracted. I found this fabric in my stash, I bought it two years ago because I wanted to make a cosmetic toiletry set for for my daughters Christmas present, which I did do, but then the rest of the fabric has just sat there. So I decided to make these instead and use it up, being good working through my stash. I have made 2 small cosmetic bags, 2 medium, 2 large, 2 box and 1 big box bag. More stock taken over to Creative Cuppa this morning and I had a lovely vanilla matcha whilst I was there, at least I think that's what it's called, I just asked for one of those green vanilla things that my daughter had when we were in there yesterday, it was delicious and I can definitely recommend it. Anyway they now have two Carol totes, a couple of cute kitten cushions and some pencil cases to add to my stock already there. So why not pop in and start your Christmas shopping early, spread the expense and ease the explosion of costs nearer Christmas. I've started mine 😁🎄🎅☃️

Hello everyone this is Felix, I'm cat sitting this weekend and this is my charge for the duration. He's not a cuddly cat and likes to be outdoors when he can. I have the door open so he can come and go as he pleases. I felt particularly honoured just now when he strolled in and came up to me to say hello. He's gone again now though. 😊
