Open Mon, Wed-Sat 10am-4pm. Hello and welcome to Simply Divine Things. The company is owned and run by Kirsty in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Every single item we sell is lovingly made by hand to the highest possible standard and are things that we are happy to display/use too It is mostly homewares on sale here including table runners and tablecloths, hanging decorations, cushion covers, coasters and placemats, all of which will brighten up your home. Everything made suits a wide range of budgets so we're sure you will fit something you love. New products are released regularly. Bespoke items also available if you can't find what you are looking for. I absolutely love it when a merchandising plan comes together! So how do I merchandise?

I can be looking at a display for weeks that I'm not overly happy with before an idea strikes. This particular project started with a new gondola (the name for the stand itself). I was incredibly excited to get it! It was on my drive home from work that I started to plan in my head what would go where and mentally visualise how the end result will look.

I came into work early doors and started grabbing the things I wanted to put in the display. Autumn and pumpkins on one side, woodland on the other. It's not an exact science, on the contrary, there's not a lot of science behind it at all. I knew I wanted cushions and cosy throws on the bottom as they are larger, and there's a bit of colour coordination going on with some mini stories within the larger one. I do love a sticky hook to put our mini pumpkins on, and I finished with some faux Autumn leaves and lights (sorry, these aren't for sale).

What do you think? Do you like the new display?

Kate Robins and Rainbows has been busy designing new gifts and home decor for us. Her wreaths never stick around for long, and we only have one large and two minis, so get on down while stocks last! She also has some beautiful new framed pictures for a gift that is completely unique.
