This is one of those transformations where the photos really do speak for themselves…
Over in Wix, Manningtree, we’ve taken down an old lean-to conservatory and replaced it with this fantastic large flat-roof orangery extension, creating a completely new open-plan kitchen and dining space for our customers.
Built using the hup! walling system, the extension has a clean rendered finish, while two large sky lanterns bring plenty of natural light into the room. Across the back, 5-pane aluminium bifold doors open the whole space out towards the garden, which is now ready for the landscaping to begin.
And we think the finished kitchen shows just how much this extension has changed the home. ❤️ It’s gone from a dated conservatory to a big, bright, modern kitchen and dining area with loads of room for family life and entertaining.
There’s also a lot that goes on behind the scenes with a build like this. We’ve fully project managed the extension from start to finish, including the architectural design, planning permission, SAP calculations and Building Regulations, as well as the construction itself, rendering, plastering, new electrics and downlighters.
It’s lovely seeing everything come together — and once the garden is landscaped, those bifolds are going to make this an even better space to enjoy.
