Missing the Summer already?… I know I am so why not brighten up your home on these dreary autumn days!

With the days getting shorter and the weather turning, why not add a splash of colour and some floral cheer into your home?

My collection of colourful cushions is just the thing to brighten up a cosy corner, sofa or favourite armchair. I also have a matching lampshade for each design! 😉

All designed by me and printed and handmade here in the UK.

A little bit of autumn loveliness!

I’ve just finished making these Rudbeckia cushions for a lovely customer, and I love how they’ve turned out! So much so, I’m tempted to add them to my main collection!

Before packing them up, I thought I’d try and get a few nice photos of myself holding them… easier said than done! 😂 Let’s just say there were a few dodgy selfies along the way, so I thought I’d share some of them!

Anyway, enough of my terrible photography skills… I think these cushions might need to become a permanent addition, don’t you? 🧡

It’s always so lovely to receive a happy customer review and even better when you share some photos with me!

I recently made these bespoke lampshades for a customer who wanted a slightly different shape to my usual ones. It took a little bit of extra design work to get the pattern to sit just right, but I’m so pleased with how they turned out!

Even better, my customer is absolutely delighted with them, which makes it all worthwhile! 💫

WHERE TO FIND ME THIS OCTOBER

October is looking rather busy! I’ve got a lovely mix of online and in-person events coming up, starting THIS WEEKEND.

• 3rd & 4th October – Super Seconds Festival
My online Super Seconds shop opens at 10am on Saturday 3rd October, with lots of perfectly imperfect pieces, samples and seconds at special prices. Sophie & Abby | Super Seconds Festival

A little look at some of the pieces heading into my Super Seconds sale this weekend, and why they’ve made it into the sale.

Some have tiny printing imperfections or little marks, some are samples or discontinued designs but they’re all still perfectly lovely and usable. They just don’t quite meet the standard for my full priced collection.

And it means you can pick up some of my colourful handmade homeware at a lovely reduced price!

Behind the scenes… Super Seconds Festival prep is well underway!

My studio is currently filling up with piles of seconds, discontinued designs, samples and end-of-line pieces as I get everything ready for the Super Seconds Festival.

I’ve been sorting, checking, photographing and listing everything ready for next week. There are lots of lovely pieces that, for one reason or another, aren’t quite good enough to sell at full price; perhaps a tiny print fault, a little mark or simply something that didn’t turn out quite as planned.

There will also be discontinued designs and a few older samples that I’ve been hanging onto for far too long!

Rather than these perfectly usable pieces going to waste, Super Seconds gives them the chance to find a new home, at a rather lovely price too.
