It's back and more popular than ever!!! This year we are offering the much sough after Sport 'Glow' with all nib sizes available from Extra Fine to Double Broad and all in between.

This year we have added an 'Experience' option which allows you to book without committing to a nib size (you can try the nibs before making the one you like). This option also allows you to buy a friend or loved one the gift of a very special experience.

This is only available until 23rd of September so don't hang around!! Get it booked as soon as possible!

OUR NEW COLLECTION!!!

Please say a big hello to Lydiamae! A wonderful local Sussex Artist who has joined our ever growing family of Sussex Creatives!

Lydia is a self taught illustration artist working from bricks and mortar shop/studio in Steyning, West Sussex, UK. She is predominantly inspired by nature, children (particularly her Son), books, vintage things, music and loved ones.

She creates her original work using Gouache paints and then has the printed products made in the UK as sustainably and eco consciously as possible. She is a greeting card maker and design gifts and prints also. She avoids unnecessary plastic packaging on her products and uses recycled tissue paper and stickers to wrap her Cards and prints.

Lydia has her own little shop in Steyning which makes her one of our extended 'Creative' family as a well loved 'Sussex Artist'.

THE SUNDAY LETTER PROJECT

An exciting event is taking over the country this year providing the opportunity to start writing great letters again! The aim of the project is to help everyone to start writing creative, fun, deep or whatever style of letter you want. It keeps your mind active, slows down the pace of life and helps you bring some sunshine into other peoples lives all year round!

There are 4 main ways you can benefit; -

1. Make a commitment to write a letter every Sunday (or your free day) to someone you know who will write back and create a fantastic regular routine.

2. make a commitment to write a letter and search for pen pal within the Letter Writing Project, taking the opportunity to share news and views with someone you can enjoy regular correspondence with.

3. Write letters to your friends locally (within the Brighton area) who can come into the shop to pick up the letter each week without paying the expensive postage.

4. There is a network of 'Letter Keepers' like ourselves building across the country and, hopefully, we can provide a low cost network of collection hubs that allows people to send a letter and for it to be picked up from the closest hub by the recipient.

It's early days, but it is definitely growing and we really hope people take the opportunity to joint the project and enjoy the fun of writing to a real person again!!
